Anne Marie D'Amico

"She was a very warm, friendly presence in the office. Always smiling," he said in an interview with CBC's Metro Morning. "I'll definitely be missing seeing that smile around the office."

Dorothy Sewell

"She loved her Maple Leafs, she loved her Blue Jays. I don't think she ever missed a Blue Jays game."

I haven't been able to find photos of either Munir Abdu Habib Al-Najjar a Jordanian or the names of the two South Korean nationals all of whom are among the dead.

Anne Marie was the last victim hit by the van.

Here's what we know about the victims of the van attack in Toronto | CBC News

7 minutes from the start of the attack until the murderer was arrested - just 7 minutes to do so much harm.
The murder scene is a mile long. This guy was moving fast from victim to Vicitm.

CNN reporting on how calm cool and collected Canadians have been - how rational.

Apparently they have not read the comments on this thread by our social misfits.

"What was striking in Monday's van attack, which killed 10 people and injured 14, was the public response: a mix of shock and incredulity tempered by reserve and order. Politicians of all stripes were calm. The media was careful. The police were disciplined. And the people were unfazed.
Instead of hysteria, accusation and anger, there were sorrow and sympathy. No xenophobic calls for vigilantism or limits on freedom. It was an extraordinary exercise in restraint -- a particularly Canadian response."

Constable Ken Lam has been identified as the Toronto policeman who kept his cool in taking down Alex Minassian.

"The video shows the man standing next to the open door on the driver's side of the vehicle, his arm outstretched, pointing a black object at the officer.

"Come on, get down," the officer shouts after drawing his weapon.

"Kill me," the man says in between making quick-draw motions with his arm.

"No, get down," the officer responds.

"I have a gun in my pocket," the man says.

"I don't care. Get down," the officer responds. "Get down or you'll be shot."

The man begins to approach the officer after a few more verbal exchanges, still pointing the black object at him.

"He kept on taking steps forward, and it is at that point that the officer, I believe, realized that that was not a gun in his hand," said Shahnam Ashgar, who witnessed the scene unfold.

The officer does not fire. He holsters his gun and takes out a baton as he strides toward the suspect, who tosses aside the object in his hand and lies down on the sidewalk, where the officer handcuffs him.

The whole incident was over in 37 seconds, and police now say there is no evidence the man was armed.

The officer "acted smartly, tactically and courageously," said John Muise, a retired Toronto police detective sergeant."

He's getting a lot of attention in the US press and cable networks today.

Actually, I see a lot of similarities between this guy and the Ecole Polytechnique killer. They both hated women, for one.

What made them like that? I don't know the answer, but it's scary that a person could become so misogynistic as to want to kill people.

I once had a friend that worked for social services. She was a beautiful young lady, think Reese Witherspoon........she was a pretty close copy.

She once complained to me that she had a client that she simply could not connect with. The guy had issues, he was vastly overweight, socially awkward, and had some mental problems. And he would consistently be rude to her on the good days, and abusive at other times.

I also had a very good friend that was seriously bi polar, and had spent a significant amount of time in psych wards and in the system. I asked him if he had any insight.

He told me "Good Lord, look at her! Every time he sees her he is reminded how desireable she is, and how he never has the slightest chance ever of touching a woman like that. He is simply frustrated beyond belief"

I don't recall mentioning the Gov't. You're dreaming up shit again...............could be one good reason why you are generally wrong about stuff. :)

In fact women without alpha males in their lives would be more inclined to support Trump

Wrong.
Women without men in their life will support whoever promises them more money in terms of government benefits... the left.

60 million people, that's a fifth of the USA.

https://www.investors.com/politics/...pular-vote-win-came-entirely-from-california/

Hehehehe...a "large portion of women" didn't vote for Trump. 25-30 percent of eligible voters voted for Trump. Out of those, many voted for him because he came out against abortion (that's the #1 issue for EVs). Many voted because they fear Mexicans and many because Trump said he would "look after them". None of those reasons has anything to do with alpha males. In fact women without alpha males in their lives would be more inclined to support Trump

You really should quit this terrible habit you have of passing off shit that comes out of your ass as factual!

That would be the CNN where the reporter in syria days after the gas attack that never happened, sniffed a kids knapsack and said it smells, so there must have been a gas attack?

Sorry for embarrassing you

I don't recall mentioning the Gov't.

I think it's time to start getting resourceful with these guys. He can help improve things like science and medicine. He can be used as a Guinea pig to test out new medicines and vaccines etc. to see if they work or are detrimental. Or maybe use him to check out the gravity on Jupiter. It just takes a little imagination!

To be fair, you didn't specifically mention government. Perhaps you just don't understand who runs the penal system. Who (in your mind) does?
