Manitoba's minimum wage to rise to $11.35 in October

Minimum wage workers in Manitoba will get an hourly pay raise this fall.

The province announced Wednesday that minimum wage will rise to $11.35 on Oct. 1, up from the current $11.15, said Blaine Pedersen, minister of growth, enterprise and trade.

During question period in the legislature on Wednesday, Manitoba NDP Leader Wab Kinew said the increase is not enough to provide a living wage and called on the Progressive Conservative government to introduce a $15 per hour minimum wage.

Of course it's not enough. Apparently it's killing the job markets everywhere at 15, so it should be higher than $11.35.

Neo-libtards, man. Why would there be an outcry? Oh THAT'S right, because this is exactly the same thing as increasing the minimum wage by over 20% in 6 months despite what the experts say, because your approval ratings suck monkey ass and you're desperate to get re-elected.

So it appears Trumpites are fine with increasing the minimum wage. Good to know. Perhaps some of them should explain what they think that wage should be.

Winnipeg probably isn't what you're looking for, either.

Winnipeg is everything one should look for.

Parts of Winnipeg are quite beautiful. An aunt of mine was a local politician in Fort Garry and her husband, my uncle was awarded the Order of Manitoba, btw.
