Trump Is Humiliated After His First State Of The Union Falls 8 Million Viewers Short Of Obama’s

Written by Nicole James (18 hours ago)

Donald Trump is not going to be happy with the ratings from his first State of the Union address. Preliminary numbers from Nielsen show that Trump’s speech, billed as “must-watch TV” by press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders this week, did not attract record viewership, and it wasn’t even close to beating Barack Obama’s first State of the Union ratings back in 2010.

Actually those numbers only include television. If you'd include the vastly increased number of live streaming devices available to viewers as an alternative, which were not available to Obama, you'd see that Trump far outpaced Barak in viewership.

It's a record, the U.S. and the World is beating a path to Trump's door amidst the failure of free market global paradigm to which Obama so recklessly and spinelessly surrendered.

There was a caliph in the Umayyad period; he was then called "Marwan the don-key" because he forbore and worked hard to save the state, but he couldn't; because the problems were so many, and when he overcame a rebellion, other riots occurred in some other places, until at last he lost.

Now when we read the address of Mr. president, we notice that he tries to find solutions for the so many difficulties which they have .. anyhow, his address is full of "I will do so and so" .. "I will be" .. "we will achieve" and "you are so great" ... etc.

I've seen polls that show 75% of those viewing the address agreed with Trump. 80% thought he was honestly trying to unite the country. It seems these so called polls showing Trump's 'record unfavourability' are paper thin.

This pretty much sums up Trump lovers.

I streamed it on a tablet, then carefully wiped it clean afterwards to protect myself against Trump cooties.

8 million is what Obama would best Trump by in an election

Strange how appropriate this is 24 years later. Originally posted 1994.

Yes remember that income tax was just a temporary measure to payofff our WW1 debt . How is that working out so far ? I am pretty sure my grandparents wanted us to keep paying into perpetuity .

Stuff costs things.

Let's drop healthcare and education and you can have a huuuuuuuge tax cut.

I keep trying to tell people as long as they want to Gov't. to do everything for them they have to pay the piper! It's not rocket science. There is only one specie on the planet that has money. :) :)

Anyone who sat through that politely has not been paying attention for the last 2 years.
