Antifa Wanted To Derail Trains As Part Of Orchestrating Chaos
The Amtrak derailment in Washington has been a trendy topic amongst liberals and conservatives alike. Early this morning, a commuter train carrying over 80 people drailed off of a bridge over Interstate 5 south of Tacoma Washington. Apparently, there have been casualties, but the exact number of victims has yet to be revealed.
The Amtrak train was on a run on a new route; it had left Seattle and was headed south to Portland Oregon. When the trail in question derailed, it caused other train cars to hurtle off the overpass onto freeway lanes below during rush hour. Evidently, fatalities from the incident were limited to the people on the train, and no one driving on the interstate was killed.
You may be thinking, “Oh great, another Isis inspired terrorist attack” but strong evidence suggests that an allied group (It’s Going Down) of Antifa is to blame. PJ Media writes:

ISIS shouldn’t be the only terrorist group under suspicion for the Amtrak derailment in Washington this morning. The anarchist group “It’s Going Down” last April bragged online about sabotaging railroad tracks in the Pacific Northwest to block fracking equipment from getting to its destination. The group has since deleted the post, possibly in reaction to today’s Amtrak disaster.
Not wanting to put attention on themselves for this particular crime, they deleted as much evidence as they could. But a parody Antifa Twitter account posted the following earlier this summer:

Because of this, many are saying that Antifa is responsible for the train derailing as they have taken credit for train derailings in the past. When one user suggested that because this is a parody account and therefore must be fake, the Official Antifa replied with:

They admitted to derailing trains and orchestrating chaos in the following statement:
“Early in the morning of April 20th, we poured concrete on the train tracks that lead out of the Port of Olympia to block any trains from using the tracks. We took precautions to notify BNSF (the train company) – we called them and we used wires to send a signal that the tracks were blocked. We did this not to avoid damaging a train, nothing would bring bigger grins to our faces, but to avoid the risk of injuring railway workers.
This action was done to disrupt the movement of trains carrying proppants used in natural gas fracturing. These train tracks are part of a system of pipelines, fracking wells, mines, clear-cuts, control centers, fiberoptics, dams, highways, and factories that cover the planet and are physical manifestations of a process that is destroying the ecosystems, cultures, and inhabitants everywhere. Behind this network of infrastructure, there are politicians, CEOs, and bureaucrats who have private security, cops, prison guards, non-profit directors, PR consultants and the legacy of 500 years of colonization to back them up. We oppose all of these manifestations, infrastructural, personal and ideological. We blocked the train tracks because we want to blockade the entire web of domination that is slowly killing us.”
The fact that they admitted earlier to committing the very same crime that happened today, then deleting said claim, looks extremely suspicious. This very well likely could be another act of terrorism by the Anti-Fascist group. If the police department has an ounce of sense, they’ll start looking into Antifa.

I knew that when I posted my response. And my response was to Trump's generalization on infrastructure funding. I was watching TV when they first started talking about this situation and I agreed with one guy who said new track bed, new tracks, new train, but old curve.
I suppose someone thought the train could handle the curve at that speed and so far, it appears it couldn't.
I didn't hear Trump's response but if he did proclaim 'America needs to rebuild it's infrastructure' because of this, I wonder if he knew about the new work that had occurred............
It appears, contrary to earlier reports, the curve despite the rail work was not set up for 80 mph......

You're an idiot. The track wasn't new. The track had been used for freight and military for years before it was used for this. It was the inaugural run for AMTRAK ON AN ALREADY EXISTING RAIL LINE. Learn to f*cking read before you bitch about accuracy and facts.

Yes, you are full of bullshit indeed. The Kingston subdivision has a posted speed limit for trains rolling through of 90 mph. Yes, that's MILES per hour. Via frequently rolls though Pickering at 90-100 mph, they also travel around 100 mph through the Brockville sub.
Okay, you're partly correct. There's not a lot of high speed rail outside of southern Ontario and Quebec simply because of A) the huge distances between population centers and B) Too low of a population density throughout the vast majority of Canada to make the investment worthwhile.
For example, you know all those high speed rail lines in Europe and throughout Asia? Well only 3 of those lines actually make a profit. All the rest require subsidies to keep them running. And Via already has enough problems with profitability.
