There is really no difference between the Liberals and Conservatives (Republicans/Democrats.) They are financed into office by the same people. They play a game of musical chairs.

Here in Canada, all the tax breaks given are all going to be recovered or returned to the Federal government with a carbon tax which will affect every single item we purchase. A GST in disguise.

In America, the Democrats will win and raise taxes but not the full amount which have now been just rolled back. It is a win-win for the Ruling Class.

They are actually Canadians and we are talking about Americans.

Year one something like $1.4 trillion gets bottwed and only the .4 gets paid back.

So yes indeed it is going to the debt - about $9.something trillion is the figure that released.

Not bringing in as much revenue does not add to debt. Spending beyond your means is what adds to debt.

Can you tell me one leader who ever got them this much cash?

They are literally embarrassed by it.

What a reasoned response. I wonder what Trudeau's debt would have to be to be good debt. I seem to recall you were not on board with Trudeau's debt. Is it because the 1% aren't getting the money?

TrudOWE's debt was totally unnecessary. He also increased spending for no good reason so his debt is not only bad debt but poor leadership.

Good question. Would like to know the answer to that too.

I have read over and over on this forum how Trump's bankruptcies are proof of what a rootin'-tootin' industrial wunder kid he is. Most don't seem to recognize con men for what they but I suppose that is con men like Trump pull it off. Too many are unwilling to suspend their disbelief if the "message" is delivered directly to THEM.

With pot being legalized ( recreational) they might be banking on the new tax income to deal with the horrendous national debt.

How does the US national debt compare with other nations?
