So, America didn't benefit from winning WW2? It didn't help launch our high living standards?

God no!!! We don't want war for our kids. Lets make sure they never have war. So that they can never have a chance of enjoying a booming economy after winning the war

No one wants that for their children.

The reason the economy boomed after WWII was because it had nowhere else to go but up.

Well, I'm gonna lay a Mhz on y'all and post this mega god stuff down cuz it's funny as hell and is in keeping with the OP:

And God Created Millennial Earth

SARA K. RUNNELS

THE BEGINNING (of the end)

GENESI$ 1

1
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. #CreationGoals #EarthIsBae
2
Now the earth was formless and basic, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was lowkey hovering over the waters.
3
And God said, “Let there be light,” and it was lit AF.
4
God saw that the light was so extra, so He separated the light from the darkness (for aesthetic), then bragged it was hashtag no filter.
5
God called the light “day,” then threw some shade and called it “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first truly #blessed day.
6
Then God, who was L-I-V-I-N-G for this, said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”
7
So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it like it was NBD.
8
God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning — the second #blessed day, and the first #TransformationTuesday.
9
Then God was like, “You know TFW when you should let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear?” (He whispered yaaasssss to Himself.)
10
So God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas,” and he created a cute geofilter for each of them.
11
Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, so no one ever gets hangry.” Then God LOL’d.
12
The land produced vegetation; mostly ingredients for green juice and wine, TBH.
13
Then there was evening, and there was morning — the third day. And God added it to his Instagram Story.
14 – 15
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years,” which was sus considering He gave everyone the same amount of time in a day as Beyoncé (another deity).
16
Then God, a natural UX Designer, made two great lights — the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. And, because God has no chill, he also made the stars.
17 – 18
God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. Then he binge-watched The Stars on Netflix. #Sponsored #Ad
19
And there was evening, and there was morning — the fourth day. And God was v tired from adulting so hard.
20
God tweeted, “RT if you think I should let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky," even though He had no followers (yet).
21
But God created these next-level creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems IRL anyway. And God had all the feels.
22
Then God, woke as ever, said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth,” which was v v on brand for God.
23
And there was evening, and there was morning — the fifth day. And God wrote a quick essay about it on Medium.
24
Then, because God was in #beastmode, He said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals.” But He only selfied with the most adorbs ones.
25
God made the wild animals according to their kinds. And God saw to it that these creatures would bring joy (and fear) across the land and live eternally in memes across the internet.
26
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may SLAAAYYYYYY over all the non-humans,” which was a pretty savage thing to say.
27
So God created humankind in His own image of #squadgoals; male and female and gay and lesbian and bisexual and queer and transgender and whatever anyone wanted. He created them all equally thirsty AF.
28
God blessed His fam and shouted, “YOLOOOOOOO.” And then spilled the tea about life on earth.
29
God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. But don’t buy too much avocado toast, or you will never be able to afford a house.” And they were shook.
30
“And to all the creatures of the earth, even the internet trolls and ratchet THOTs — everything that has the breath of life in it — I give every green plant for food.” And they all said, “OMG, preach!” and went to brunch.
31
God saw all that He had made, and He literally couldn’t even.
And there was evening, and there was morning. And God was like, for heaven’s sake! This place is cray, I’m OUTTTT! ✌ And he requested an Uber, and it was so.

The reason the economy boomed after WWII was because it had nowhere else to go but up.

For the European countries, maybe.
Most of them got a lot of extra GDP rebuilding stuff.
And Marshall Plan money to finance it.

For the US (and Canada), the huge retooling effort to make every factory into an efficient, fast moving
standardized production business paid dividends when they were changed over to civilian production.
The cost of manufacturing everything dropped, basic things like fridges and stoves and cars were suddenly affordable
to everyone, the US finally discovered countries like Saudi and Iran so they had cheap oil,
European customers for goods, and British money from wartime sales to help with money.

The UK had rationing until 1953, not a sign of a good economy.

With the Dallas Police Department working to make up for a shortage of police officers, Chief Renee Hall told city council members on Monday about some new strategies to fill jobs.

Chief Hall is looking at everything from rewarding officers who recruit candidates to eliminating some of the automatic disqualifiers, like minor drug use from someone's past.

Both the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire-Rescue are struggling to find people who want to protect and serve. Both chiefs told city council members that the millennial generation is partly to blame.

"We have nights, weekends and holidays — not attractive to millennials who want all days off and to be the chief in six months,” Chief Hall said. “We recognize that is a challenge."

Both chiefs said they're also challenged with starting pay that is lower than neighboring cities.

Wow... you're kind of dumb.

He lives in a imaginary world of equalitarianism

that is pretty scary

Even with government handouts to employers who hire women in construction, Women are hardly joining the construction force. Equal pay for equal work. Come and get it girls.

But we both know it wont happen. And thats why you won’t post in this thread again because you’re imaginary world is exposed and the reality is so harsh, so cruel you can’t even handle it.

Crawl back to you’re imaginary Marxiste democratic Utopia where everyone makes equal pay

Even if our government achieves legislation to force higher pay for women, more men will take up a bigger percentage of those jobs because of the higher pay, leaving a higher level of worker shortages in construction, pushing wages higher in construction due to lack of supply making the value of construction workers go up.

SOme waitresses make close to what residential construction pays when you take tax free tips into account. And they work year round.

Thats good, They have found a market that will support that kind of high wage for their work. I bet the girls are really eager to work there.

They're all over Social Media, pointing their fingers and scolding anybody who says anything remotely outside of the PC Box.

How did this all happen? Who's to blame for this?

My brother told me he read a study which showed millennial male handshakes were weaker than their own Mother's.

A weak handshake at a job interview is the end...you're done.

You're worried about handshakes? The firmness of a handshake is more cultural than anything else. I'll agree with you on the hyper-PC stuff though. But let's just aim at the right target.

A weak handshake at a job interview is the end...you're done.

It started with the popular media. The 'strong silent type' archetypical hero in film and television disappeared in the early 60s (Gary Cooper, John Waye.. ). As did the pretty demure leading lady. The men were were replaced with whining neurotic narcissists. The women with bossy butch maneaters.

Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate became the stereotype for the actor (or think of ALL male roles in Friends.. incompetent, perenially put out dildos)

What comes out of this vegamatic blender is Justin Trudeau.. weak, effeminate, submissive men.. on the leash of a feminist coven.
