When was the last time a President came directly out of the public sector?

Trying to tie anything that relates to voters checking a box is going to be really hard to go through could have, might have, probably has to definitely has contracted Russian psyops.

Did you mean private sector, cuz all presidents since Ike held elected office prior to being elected POTUS.

Even Ike did something that Trump never did. Ike served his country in the military during a time of national need. Trump didn't do that. He intentionally avoided doing that and when his country needed trained officers (Trump attended Military school for years) Trump took a powder ... but only long enough to evade selective service, then ... PRESTO! ... His feet miraculously re-gained their arches, again! He must have gone to fecking Lourdes!
