I drove to ONterrible this week with a load.. 1st time and last time.
As I drive down the 401 I see dam near every 3rd car texting and driving, and not just cars, truck drivers weaving back and forth and as I pass them they’re texting.
Truck driver should have Dash cams that film the road and the driver and eLogs.
...and honest to God yesterday a fella had his laptop wedged between his stomach and the steering wheel on the 401 as he typed away.
In the USA, drivers are charged $1,500 and the company $15,000 if it can be proved they new the driver texts while driving. Canada needs stronger laws like these..

Dash cam, I have 4 1 forward, 2 to each side and mirror, and a Bluetooth camera that’s fasten to the rear trailer.
Omnitracs is installing 1 in each mirror for me later this month.
And how would your truck having cameras prevent you from plowing into traffic if you aren't paying attention?
The cameras are only to help you prove someone else did something wrong, but it doesn't prevent driver distraction......
