It is the FACTS that matter. Factual EVIDENCE is the important thing. It is not about personalities or personal"truths" which are usually biased from the tellers point of view.

In retaliation Trump inc has ordered investigations into Hillary , the email stuff again.....etc. No surprise as this kind of knee jerk revenge is his style. So Let the chips fall as they may. If there are casualties on BOTH sides.......so be it.

NO party in this mess is without flaws. What is so sad is that all this drama and the series of drams that have been the character of the current administration.......... has taken over any productivity that the government might have achieved by now. Hoping that whatever Monday reveals is FACTUALLY and evidence based.......and that Meuller will not be aborted from completing the job. (as that would be flagrant obstruction of justice )

In reality , Meuller has the real opportunity to "clear the swamp".....

Technically, Trump has not been and is not under investigation.......UNLESS the paths lead to him or some staff close to him.

The issue is that he is acting like he is.........instead of focusing on the job he was elected to do. He gets far too easily distracted by side issues and that interferes in accomplishing anything. His defensiveness is not doing him any favors .


At this point it matters little Which party will be affected ( or BOTH)......... as long as the FACTS come out and the results are evidence based.

Things could get even uglier as Trump is not concerned about how low he has to go to defend himself and his loyalists.
Totally fascinating to watch. and the world is watching too. This will indicate the amount of integrity /credibility that the US still has (as a nation). .......

I was watching Anderson Cooper on CNN this morning and not much was mentioned about Hillary or the Dems generally. They said you could see that Trump was attempting to down play everything. The panel, citing Trump's statements about the investigation, reminded the audience that he (President Trump) believed they will not find anything.

I chuckled at the start of the show. John King said we don't know anything about the charges, what they are, who or how many were being charged, the circumstances about the charges, or even who they suspected would be taken into custody. But they managed to fill 30 minutes with speculative fiction. You have to fill your time slot with something.

I said to my wife, why don't they wait until tomorrow and deal with some facts? Surely there has to be other news to talk about. News about which they have some details, not guesses. :lol:

Which makes sense. Do not tip your hand and allow any of the people who will be charged, or that are to be brought in for questioning, to destroy evidence. I think that if they were worried about any individuals fleeing the scene, that they were probably watched.

Leaking this information can damage the investigation, but really, if they have enough evidence to lay charges, it's too late for the perpetrators.

So he can keep his job!!!

But of course, it's more important to see people you don't like charged instead of the guilty.

Deputy AG Won’t Say Whether The FBI Paid For Dossier

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein refused to say on Wednesday whether the FBI paid for the infamous Trump dossier.

Rosenstein, who was grilled by the House Judiciary Committee, suggested that he knew the answer to the question, which was posed by Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis.

“Did the FBI pay for the dossier?” DeSantis asked.

“I’m not in a position to answer that question,” Rosenstein responded.

“Do you know the answer to the question?” the Republican DeSantis followed up.

“I believe I know the answer, but the Intelligence Committee is the appropriate committee…” Rosenstein began.

DeSantis interjected to assert that the Judiciary panel has “every right to the information” about payments for the dossier.

Congressional Republicans have long questioned the Justice Department and FBI over whether payments were made for the Trump dossier, which was written by former British spy Christopher Steele and funded by the Clinton campaign and DNC.
