The only thing I ever bought was a bullet resistant vest when I worked armoured car...........50/50 with the employer. No, the employer did not have to buy it, and my expense was not tax deductable.

But I didn't pay tax pn the part that the gov't paid for either.

You need a better union. Our contract has the employer supplying all safety equipment except leather boots and those get a partial rebate.

Probably not but look how many government employees they can add to do stings on ma&pa stores. These otherwise unemployable types will then vote for their jobs ensuring bad government for decades to come.

If you sell merchandise to your employee at a discount and you also offer the discount to the general public or to certain groups of the public, the benefit to the employee is not usually considered taxable.

Apply that to all the Social workers, if not for rampant unemployment a lot of them would be on the street themselves. Yet they are the biggest complainers about who is collecting welfare.
