Or it's motivated by the religious belief that there is only one human race.
One race with how many divisions? The ones with the money to do things tend to want two classes, Kings and surfs and Priests and the flock. The Bible's version has both of being 'sons of God' so that is how they are equal. Having the Jews act as Kings and Rabbis to the Gentiles is setting up a division where none should be.
M't:9:36:
But when he saw the multitudes,
he was moved with compassion on them,
because they fainted,
and were scattered abroad,
as sheep having no shepherd.
Joh:10:16:
And
other sheep I have,
which are not of this fold:
them also I must bring,
and they shall hear my voice;
and there shall be one fold,
and one shepherd.
Only in the OT version can a Jew own a Gentile. Christians came into belief in God by the words written by Jews so we are their children, wayward but still brothers and not slaves like it is claimed Muslims are.
Maybe the Sermon on the Mount, the story of the Good Samaritan, and other such texts have influenced my beliefs.
How about the woman at the well story. Jesus taught their whole village for a weekend before He started preaching to the Jews. John was not yet in prison is the reason, btw.
As a Christian do you agree that all Gentile food was made clean for the Jews in Acts:10??
