Absolutely, although the Flashman series of novels get a pass on that.

Someone will have to break the news to Fabio though
Ban Flashman? Philistines!

Fab, buddy, it's been a great run, but y'know, it's a business decision.

By the way, if you liked Flashman, you will LOVE a three-book series (slim volumes) of short stories based on Fraser's service during and just after WWII in a highland regiment working its way back to Scotland. The titles are (in order):

The General Danced at Dawn
McAuslan in the Rough
The Sheikh and the Dustbin

Scheer’s decision to keep Leitch out of his inner circle and the Conservative shadow cabinet was politically motivated and the right one to make. Leitch, who ran a divisive political campaign designed to rally a small base, aligned herself with U.S. President Donald Trump whose “exciting message” needed to make its way into Canada.

Foolishly, she thought that messages of hate would work here. Now, Trump is the laughingstock of the world. Scheer, who conceivably wants to win in 2019 and thinks he can, is smart enough to not align himself with people like that. Although it took him awhile, kudos to Scheer also for distancing himself from The Rebel, the very same far-right media outlet whose subscribers Leitch unveiled her “values test” to.

Scheer makes a smart move to exclude Kellie Leitch | National Observer

The Fox News Channel’s days as a reliably extreme right-wing conservative Republican propaganda source may be numbered, according to media watchers.
.
A report from Politico claims that in the wake of Roger Ailes’ departure from the network in disgrace, there are questions about whether Fox News will continue to offer the same type of right-wing conservative programming that has made its fortune over the course of two decades.
.
Rupert Murdoch has stepped in as interim CEO and director of Fox News, but has made it known
that he will be handing the operation over to his sons. Rumors have flown for years that the Murdoch sons — who are less extreme than their right-wing propagandist
85-year-old media magnate father — are embarrassed by the stupid, embarrassingly bad right-wing antics regularly featured on the network.
.
While some in the industry argue that Murdoch would never give up the lucrative cash cow that Fox News has become, others say that the network is losing its cachet with viewers.
.
Fox’s audience is aging and dying off, they argue, and many once-loyal viewers have abandoned the network in favor of alt-right media sources like the KKK News.

Northern Ontario,
Even though it was a blatant assault on free speech? You know, according to the title of YOUR thread.
Repeat after me....
It's only a conspiracy theory, IF it comes from the conservatives
Trump's association with Putin is not a Conspiracy theory

Wow - 90,000 idiots who believed in conspiracy theories. No doubt all of them voted for the Dumpster.

YOUR Antifa ( and I guess their other supporters as well) will eventually be declared domestic terrorists( by folks like PELOSI!!! Now there is a real Trump supporter! haha!) as they should be.

Yes, and dumping Chris Alexander was a good move too.

Antifa is liek, soooooo bad guys.

If you read the history of it, Antifa was originated in Germany and served as a front group of communist thugs controlled from Moscow. In fact, they probably unwitting contributed to the rise of Nazism prior to Hitler's rise because they seemed to confirm Hitler's rhetoric of communists brining chaos to Germany.
Never mind that the blackshirts were even worse and that Nazism might be even worse than Nazism. I'm not excusing the Nazis in the US either. Two wrongs don't make a right. And maybe Antifa is the lesser of two evils when compared with Nazis. I'm just saying let's not make Antifa out to be something it's not. It's not just an anti-Fascist movement. It's a communist movement that labels anything to the right of them fascists.

You are talkin' history to statue topplers
It's over their heads ( though the people telling them what to do know what's going on)
That's why they toppled the statues in the first place.

Like I said, two wrongs don't make a right. We are talking here of statues to honour people who fought to defend slavery.

I had no idea that you spoke regularly with Pelosi. No doubt you do it whenever you are not busy talking to god. BTW the last time I looked Pelosi was the House Minority leader. Are you predicting that the Democrats are going to take over the House of Representatives in 2018?
