Doing exactly what you support: using guns to fight a tyrannical government.

Too bad it's not the 1700s.

THey voted out their tyrannical government in November. Remember all the snowflakes crying because they nlost the election they were positive they had rigged?

I see the liberals are really having a tough time accepting that their hate speech caused this.

This event has clearly demonstrated exactly how rigid, narrow and intolerant the liberal mindset actually is in feverishly working to morph the facts to disguise and muddy the underlying factors and try and blame anyone but themselves.

They voted out their tyrannical government in November. Remember all the snowflakes crying because they lost the election they were positive they had rigged?

That was some of the best entertainment going... I still get a good laugh today fondly remembering all of that pseudo-angst

Could you support that statement? I do not support what he did at all, nor is this a tyrannical government.

So please... support your statement.
He found the government tyrannical. Just like Sam Adams and Patrick Henry did. And John Brown.

The difference between a hanged traitor and the father of his country is entirely whether he wins. The day may yet come when this guy is called a hero. It was six years from the Boston Massacre to the Declaration of Independence.

Like you said, it's the victors that write history.

In this case, buddy was not victorious
As I also said (not "like," you illiterate peasant!), the history isn't written yet.

Too bad Congressman Greg Gianforte wasn't there. He woulda just body-slammed Nutbar McGee, and that woulda been the end of it!

'Course, then the righty snowflakes'd have to find something else to whimper about.

My bad: My interpretation of your contribution (I'll be generous on that) is that there was the implication to which I referred

the history isn't written yet.

Oh, but it has... The moment that the issue was reported on wrote the event into a form of history.

That said, the interpretation of said event will evolve over time subject to the influences du jour

.... Or, Bill Clinton might have taken steps to solicit buddy into wearing a blue dress and play a round of Eager Intern.... Buddy may have been star-struck enough to pass on the shooting altogether

'Course, then the righty snowflakes'd have to find something else to whimper about.

It's the leftard snowflakes that are doing all the whining, back peddling and whimpering at this point

A lunatic like Patrick Henry. A lunatic like Nathan Hale. A lunatic like Ethan Allen.

Hodgkinson was like Patrick Henry and Nathan Hale... come on now.

You don't believe in the Second Amendment? Or do you believe that guns are for decoration, never to be used?

I believe in the 2nd Amendment... but now you're moving the goal post.

Doing exactly what you support: using guns to fight a tyrannical government.

He was not doing exactly what I support nor do I believe the US Government is tyrannical. It isn't under Trump, it wasn't under Obama, GW, Clinton, or Bush Sr.

I do not support the shooting of elected officials because I do not agree with them.

Patrick Henry and Nathan Hale weren't like Patrick Henry and Nathan Hale. Who knows what history will make of Hodgkinson (probably nothing at all, but you never know). Remember that the fuse for the Boston Massacre was lit by a colonial who falsely accused a British Officer of not paying his bill.

Who remembers now that a slanderer started the American Revolution?

Whoa! There were MANY reasons for the Boston Massacre and the Revolution. A false accusation of such insignificance was not the trigger for the Revolution.

I KNOW you don't believe that.

It was the trigger for the Boston Massacre, which was one of the triggers for the Revolution. Because it happened first in time (March 5, 1770) many call it the source of the Revolution.

This is one of those debates that I do enjoy. Too bad we aren't sitting at The Black Rose within site of the Boston Massacre site with a couple of Guinnesses.

Just having troops dispatched to Boston could be considered a trigger. Of course that was triggered by Customs Officials having to seek safety at Castle William (now Castle Island... officially Ft. Independence) ... right there in Southie!

Ye Bloody Butchers!

NYT Posts Editor’s Note Correcting Claim About GOP Political Incitement in Giffords Shooting

I beg your pardon, sir! Do you, perhaps, refer to Dorchester Heights?

Funniest part is all the colonials (most of 'em anyhow) really wanted was representation in Parliament. The legendary stiff necks of the Brits cost them an empire.

Sir! Sir! Dorchester Heights IS Southie.
