It will be funny to watch progressives make up a reason why it was a bad idea. Im sure there will be something since Trump.

So, if everyone that you don't agree with is a "progressive", logically, that makes you a "regressive".

Yes. Because i don't pretend to inow better then billions of years of evolution. I trust that most things are for reasons that My insignificant existence will never be able to comprehend. Unlike my progressives friends that think they know better then the universe. And everything needs to be changed.

In any sort of enterprise or endeavour, there's always rats that will jump ship!

If you're referring to the ship of fools you seem to be on I never got on board in the first place.

Well, I don't agree with progressives, but I don't agree with ignorant loonies on the far right either.

Donald Trump's Financial Ties to Russian Oligarchs and Mobsters Detailed In Explosive New Documentary from the Netherlands

Dutch TV did what no American TV network dares, suggesting Trump's past includes illegal racketeering.

Donald Trump's business partners have included Russian oligarchs and convicted mobsters, which could make the president guilty of criminal racketeering charges.
That's one of the eyebrow-raising takeaways from a 45-minute Dutch documentary that aired last week, titled The Dubious Friends of Donald Trump, Part 1: The Russians. The first installment of the investigative reporting series, produced by Zembla, does what no American TV network has yet dared to do—take a deep look at the organized crime links and corrupt international business strategies used by Trump and his partners in his properties.

I think Trump has to rely on his better instincts and not be put on the defensive by the political and media establishment.

He's got some workable and revolutionary ideas (in relation to the accepted truths of the contemporary paradigm) on the nation state, trade, money, society. They are poorly articulated, but i see his instincts lead him to some fundamental principles in economy and culture. Trump is an iconoclast, a pragmatist and a true original.. not a slave to ideologies. It'll take him a while to settle in, but he'll come around.

I think Trump fired Comey because he doesn't trust him, and thinks he might be a political hatchet man for his opponents instead of an honest broker. I tend to have a higher opinion of him than Trump, but that's why he was sacked.

Given the spurious concoction and the political axe job that is being wielded against Trump, i doubt Comey could have done much damage even if Trump's impression was valid, given the tawdry weaponry with which he had been provided.

And I am NOT a harbinger and supporter of the Apocalypse (nor a national-socialist/ Christo-fascist ). If i was one, i'd welcome the likes of Hillary Clinton/ Justin Trudeau/ Emmanuel Macron/ Angela Merkel and cohort in leading West into catastrophic civilizational collapse. I still hold some hope for salvage of Western Civilization, which is under attack from within and without (but most corrosively from within).

That's probably the most sensible and accurate evaluation of this issue I've seen on here so far. One of the biggest problems with modern society is too many thin skinned whiners!

Has anyone figured out how Russia threw the election yet?
They didn't do it directly. They did i indirectly Just consider the fact that Hillary was actually winning..........until a couple of things happened. These happenings affected the thinking of the voters. ..many of won were going to vote for Hilary but decided to hold their nose and vote for trump based on the revelations that have indirect and direct connections with Russia. It was voter influence from these leak's that affected the elections. The voters made their choice in a reactive manner ......reacting to the info leaked about Hillary that was "suggestive" not factual........... and with Trump calling her names in his boorish non classy manner...... along with voter suggestibility. Trump won What they do is influence the voters by spreading ;misinformation , false news, and confusion... sowing doubt about a specific candidate. It is more of their mind game effectiveness. Let's not forget that Trump invited Russia to see what they could do to h;help him. ( Not a direct quote) The voters involved allowed themselves t o be influenced by the mis/ dis information probably because they wanted to buy into Trumps BS and promises. Many of whom were primarily interested in jobs........ for themselves ..and not thinking of what is best for the whole country. Now they have a government that governs by Twitter.

Possibly NOT! What you mentioned was likely balanced off by Hillary supporters who made a concerted effort to balance the vote.

PS.......The voters were manipulated by Russia's hackers who gave info to Wikileaks and the rest is history. Except as evidenced by the current town hall meetings many of these same voters (Trump supporter) are now angry at how the Whitehorse is dys functioning. & chaos.

Reality: they only have themselves to blame. In a democracy the population is responsible and accountable for the people they elect. IF trump talks their language........as many have been reported to have stated.......... THAT alone speaks volumes about them as voters and members of the country.

They don't have to look for collusion with Russia ..........as it was obvious with Trump's request to Russia in a very public way. Trump has business dealings in Russia. He is known there. Putin had him figures out and knew how to react and then play out he scenario he wanted. Trump is a fool and primal specimen compared to the cleverness and shrewdness of Putin.

Th Question is: What happened between the time that Hillary was obviously winning and the leaks that happened right before the election??

Let's not go into Hillary's baggage. Trump has a lot of messy baggage too. That is not the issue. The issue is that the voters elected the LEAST qualified person to lead their country. In the mean time The White house is going from crisis management to crisis management.

Possibly NOT! What you mentioned was likely balanced off by Hillary supporters who made a concerted effort to balance the vote.
The important question is: (IMHO) WHO was better QUALIFIED???

Personal likes and dislikes aside.

Oh......and Putin hated Hillary so ;his motivations might have been that in part oo. It seems that the hatred of Hillary was a big factor in the election. So those that hated her have that in common with Putin.......... and would probably endorse his interference.

News flash. Comey provided all the information against Hilary Clinton. :laughing3: No Russian Hackers ;)

This is what makes our president such a incredible Troll :)

But thanks for proof that the left has absolutely no idea what's going on.

Now, that Trump has Russian investment partners that are shady, really doesn't make a difference too me. The Saudi's gave millions to the Clinton. Makes $hit even on both sides. Tit for tat. Get a grip sensitive snowflakes.

Didn't say Russia was behind what Comeydid. If they were influencing the FBI..........then the US is in more trouble than appears . Comey did his sloppy thing about the investigation into the emails etc. It was wIKIlEAKS that released a lot of data about emails etc that did not favor Hillary. Hillary is not blameless. No one said she is. Her personnel was hacked as you might recall. and then the info ends up in public view via Wiki leak Trump proclaims hi s love for Wikileaks. as it was working in his favor.

Trump...................thicker skin for starters!

surely you jest. ;-)
