You have me confused with CC.
Jabberwocks auld bies!

yeah, you're right, sorry Murph
here is my point

its called a dog in it's yard
a very small dog, in its own yard will take out a huge dog who isn't in his yard

If the Spanish patrol BOAT had fired on the little British craft while invading British waters:
The whole world would consider Spain the biggest Pariah bully ever and then they would LIKELY get their a$$ handed to them in a very short war

...and their BOAT probably would not even have made it back to its home port

Actually, no. It was politics. There's no drama or anything. The world wouldn't have cared. Only the UK, for whom the Spanish have little regard. But what would have happened had the Spanish actually decided to take out the little vessel? They would have boarded her, removed the people and sunk it.

As I said earlier, no military commander would order the destruction of a vessel that was clearly no match for them.

But what would have happened had the Spanish actually decided to take out the little vessel?

Either a Royal Navy Type 45 destroyer, even if it was 70 miles away, would have taken out the Infanta Christina with a missile or a Royal Navy hunter killer submarine lurking off Gibraltar would have blown it out of the water and into the sky.

You're a jackass, and showing your ignorance - again. The Spanish would have boarded the little vessel, removed the dumbasses on it and sank it. They would not have been fired on because:

a. The British aren't particularly good at their job, and
b. More to the point, would be fearful of killing their own sailors.

Don't talk like an ass, especially when you know nothing about what the grown ups are talking about.

They would not have been fired on because:

Had the Infanta Christina attacked the Scimitar then the Infanta Christina would quickly find itself the victim of either a Type 45 destroyer - the world's most powerful destroyers - or a hunter-killer submarine. Type 45s are known to prowl the waters of Gibraltar and it is thought that hunter-killer subs are lurking under the surface. The Royal Navy never lets it be known where any of its submarines are where they are underwater, but there's bound to be at least one lurking off Gibraltar.

bullsh!T! you are talking out your cannuck like A$$
he was forced out because there is no legal way he could make a move without starting a war
so he as invader was forced out by a little wee boat

The British had every right to request the Spanish BOAT stop to be searched in British waters
The Spanish BOAT had to leave or be boarded or shoot
ONLY THREE CHOICES

no commander would bla bla bla: WRONG!!!
for example:

A Greek force of approximately 7,000 men marched north to block the pass in the middle of 480 BC. The Persian army, alleged by the ancient sources to have numbered over one million, but today considered to have been much smaller (various figures are given by scholars, ranging between about 100,000 and 150,000),[8][9] arrived at the pass in late August or early September.

here is cracked magazine to put that ridiculous theory to bed

"The Korean navy was down to 13 ships, all badly damaged. Their admiral, Yi Sun-shin, quickly gathered the survivors, knowing full well that Japan was gearing up for another go at invading Korea and they were the only line of defense. There was also another problem: Their 13 limping vessels were facing over 330 Japanese warships.

With nothing to lose, Yi decided to go for it and engaged the Japanese ships anyway ... and he beat the ever-loving crap out of them. In a shocking twist, it turns out there's more to naval warfare than just numbers. Yi knew the waters and waited for the enemy at Myeongnyang Strait, where the Japanese ships inevitably bottlenecked thanks to its narrowness. You may recognize this exact strategy from the movie 300, although we think even Leonidas would have thought twice before trying it with freaking warships."
The 6 Most Mismatched Battles Ever Won by Underdogs

haha, your GIANT military A$$ kicked by little wee CRACKED magazine
now that's funny!

See the one at the cracked link where the little persian army beat the huge egyptian army with CATS doood!!!
also the one where the ottomans beat the 1807 BRIT FLEET with a SINGLE 15th century cannon

no military commander would would squish a bug eh?
no bug would take out a giant military commander...on a BOAT ?

heh
too funny
have a nice day Murph
