If even 1 person in that mosque had a gun the deathtoll would have been far less.

You heard it here first, folks. He wants to see mosques full of armed men, here in Canada.

CSIS will be knocking on your door, in a few hours.

A bunch of TERRORISTS run crowds of people over with trucks, murder cartoonists, shoot up airports, shoot up streets etc etc

There, I fixed that for you.

and they say its racist for the Europeans to say that they feel terrorized, threatened because there isn't enough proof that the Muslim communities there are extreme.
Who is saying Europeans don't have the right to feel terrorized?

BUT

One white kid shoots up a mosque and consequently the Muslims have every right to feel threatened because the media is saying over and over that we are the problem. Because evidently one lone wolf attack is enough to justify us as the problem....
Damn right they feel threatened - the mosque has been vandalized nine times in the past - I'd bloody well feel threatened.

The media will perform as they always do by over-reporting, making suppositions, pointing fingers and generally making a nuisance of themselves. Can't blame that on the Muslim community. There is a problem with racism in Canada - it is not a huge problem but why let it get any larger? Best to confront it when we see it, hear it or read it - just as I have done here.

That's all CBC and CNN put out...

And when exactly did the CBC make that comment? I watch the news every night and I didn't hear it. Or did you just make it up?

This opinion article pissed me off the most:

Quebec's ugly ethnic nationalism - CBC News | Opinion

They say its not right to link terrorists with European Muslims but its alright to link the entire white population of Quebec with this kids attack?

I would appreciate it if someone could find an equally worded article from either of these sites being just as equally critical of the Muslim population there as it is critical of whites here.

Prove me wrong

Like you changed the word Muslims with terrorists to correct me but you left the white descriptor of the shooter alone instead of replacing it with terrorist also... That doesn't help the situation neither Mowich, that's my problem and pointing it out doesn't make me racist.

Cant blame the European attacks on the European Muslim community but we can place the blame of the Quebec mosque attack on the white community of Quebec?

Im not condoning or encouraging attacks or saying the shooter was justified, all im saying is that the double standard needs to end before the real healing begins.

Even a Quebecois here on this forum is asking the exact same thing!!!!

It started in the early 20th century, but really accelerated in the 1960s. Most of the ills of the world were placed squarely at the feet of whites. Name the oppression and the whites were accused of starting and sustaining it.

It was made worse by television portrayals of white people - especially US white people - of being intolerant and stupid. I'm sure that there have been a few university studies about this phenomenon, but the gist is, if you're white, you're to blame.

Guns. White folks. White folks with guns. These are easy targets. They have also been the target of politicians, the media and universities when explaining the evils of the world. Unfortunately, you are damned if you do, or damned if you don't. Attempt to defend yourself and you're labeled a racist. Ask for stats/substantiation and they call you a denier.

Women's groups. Ethnic groups. Religious groups. Political groups. They have all attacked whites because, traditionally, we don't push back. I am quite sure that by posting this, someone will suggest that I am a white nationalist or racist. That accusation is enough to smear my opinion/reputation in the eyes of some.

There is no doubt that white folks have caused their share of trouble on this planet, but looking around at places like the ME, China and Africa, I'm not seeing too many white faces.

Johnny, if you are a straight white male, you have a number of serious issues. Just remember, it's your fault for everything. :)

Kevin O'Leary is an opportunist, pure and simple. Given his self proclaimed military and shooting experience he seems to be a bit ignorant. Sure, the Armalite AR-15 is the original platform for the M-16 and C series of military rifles generally manufactured by Colt, but the AR-15 as marketed and sold is a self loading civilian rifle, not an assault rifle, and not capable of the 700 rounds per minute rate of fie O'Leary claims. In fact, private ownership of fully automatic firearms is heavily restricted in the in the US, (and banned in some states) and subject to licensing and registration by the National Firearms Act and BATF, subject to the requisite fees of course.

Although he backtracked a bit, he did lump the AR-15 into the assault rifle, or "weapon" category to be banned. For the record, of the 800 or so legal firearms owners I know either personally or by association, two, yes two own what could be classed as assault rifles. Though one keeps his 3 MP-5's in Switzerland, that leaves one, who owns a Thompson 1928A1 "Tommy gun".

The other odd thing is the folks who call the AR-15 a "military style" rifle, one that no self respecting military would issue its troops due to its limitations, but is classified as "restricted". On the other hand, other self loading rifles such as the M-1 Garand, M-1 Carbine, SKS are military rifles that were issued to troops and used in warfare, and are classified "unrestricted". Curious.

Thats for sure and i better not question ANYTHING, because at the end of the day you cant call a Muslim a terrorist but you can call a white person a nationalist and you can blame the white community for the actions of one individual.

People talk about generalities but generalities only apply to white people not anyone else.
