You sound like you heard that in person. I got turned back because I had General Delivery rather than the land location where I hung my hat. Far as I know you can still do that as far as having an address that lets you cross national borders.

Or was it because of your medical medication list?

Dast is good, ja?

‘You’re headed home’: U.S. border agents turned away Canadians hoping to go to Women’s March

The plan was simple. Montrealer Sasha Dyck and some friends would drive to Washington to join the Women’s March. But when the six Canadians and two French nationals reached the border at Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, in Quebec, they ran into trouble.

U.S. border agents asked what they planned to do in the United States. “We said we were going to the Women’s March on Saturday and they said, ‘Well, you’re going to have to pull over,’ ” Dyck told the Guardian. Agents then searched their car and examined their cellphones, according to Dyck. Each member of the group was fingerprinted and had their pictures taken.

Finally, after two hours, the agents told Dyck and his friends to turn around. “

Sounds like maybe Old Trump has already got some new laws installed. What Canadian in his/her right mind would drive down to D.C. to engage in that schmozzle knowing full well there is a potential for trouble?

You had a chance to voice you're opinion about raising a generation of snowflakes and you said nothing. Fairly hypocritical of you of bashing the younger generation for becoming exactly what you're generation made them out to be.

felt awkward getting a participation trophy, every time.

Just the way I felt. Can't really explain why.

"I" didn't raise any snowflakes. In fact, my second youngest shakes his head when it comes to the whining and expectations of those in his age group. I didn't raise MY kids to expect sweet fu ck all from anyone. They want something, then they work for it. Same as I did, same as their grandfathers did.

Just like this bullshyte "they/he/she MADE me feel this or that. Jesus Christ people, take responsibility for your own "feelings" and actions.

No new laws. How could Trump have introduced and had pass new laws when he was JUST inaugurated?

I'm a whole generation now, am I...... wow, didn't realize I was THAT important.

and you HAD to feel ashamed? Really, so tell me, who was holding the gun to your head forcing you to "feel" ashamed?

It's very funny that you bring this participation trophy because it was a way of valuing everyone equally being part of women are equal to men social reprogramming.

Everyone is a women victim equally in today's social reprogrammed Canada.

That is the fundamental teaching of our public funded schools

There can never be equality. It is genetically impossible.

I'll start taking women equality seriously the day women realize and acknowledge men who suffer are told to suck it up everyday while women get care.

It's perfectly normal that men are told to suck it up. It's genetically built into us to assume all the difficult task to help our species survive.

I agree. Women shouldn't be competing with men. The genders should compliment each other according to their natural abilities and talents.
My problem with the women of today is that they try to have it all, a home, kids, career, husband and total control of all.
It's fine for a woman to have a career but when she has a child she could make the care of the child for the first 5 years her career, instill in it some deep lasting values before handing its care over to a stranger. Her career will still be there when the child goes to school full time and has become comfortable with life and confident in itself.

No one can take on several different tasks at the same time and be successful in them all. One at a time and do it well is a good rule to follow.

If that was even possible. Can't afford a mortgage now a days without 120000$ a year of income.

I can eat Kraft dinner everyday and afford a mortgage with 55 000 $ a year but is that really how you want kids to grow up in this country?
