It's going to take awhile to kill the global warming religion. But kill it we will

... with each passing year it looks more and more what it is ... a scam of biblical proportions.

The true believers are going to look as stupid as the Ludites of previous centuries.

Bet on reality, it always wins .... eventually.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel;
Wisconsin's state agency that oversees environmental regulation recently removed language from its webpage on the Great Lakes that says humans and greenhouse gases are the main cause of climate change.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources now contends the subject is a matter of scientific debate.

The department made the changes Dec.21, striking out whole sentences attributing global warming to human activities and rising levels of carbon dioxide.
Those state governors now have a friend in the White House.

This religion is doomed for sure.

Don't worry. Jesus will save you from science...

And the tears are flowing.

According to what I heard on C.B.C. just the other night, the time has arrived when we have to quit bull sh*tting each other about the effects of climate change- if we don't it's going to bite us in the A$$. Richmond B.C. will be totally under water within a century or two. To most of us the changes are obvious to us already within our life time. Check out the following data...........................................

your link shows a C02 graph
but strangely...
no temperature graph to go with it

that's ever dense all right

When ideology and emotion--which is actually the default mode of human thinking--replace reason and evidence, argument is futile. In fact, because of a well understood weakness in human thinking called cognitive dissonance, showing people reasons and evidence that their firmly held beliefs are wrong will generally just reinforce their false beliefs, and the smarter they are the better they'll be at it. Which is why I so rarely post anything in climate change threads.

How much more is that land worth if it is dotted with small lakes?? Lake Mead drainage basin is a lot of land, flat land.

Climate change for North America could start as colder wetter weather in the east and that will be the area that sees the first perpetual snow and some 100's or 1,000's of years later the whole of BC is also under perpetual ice.

If a person is going to speculate the weather seems to be as safe of a subject as any. Since we talked about the 'How the Earth was Born' series I have amended my approach a bit when it covers the last 4B years of earth's history. A global warming event is something that releases as much heat as the Siberian Traps did about 250M years ago. 3M cubic kilometers of basalt magma was expelled in a period of 1M years. That melted all the ice on the planet if it was the 10degC predicted and so far there is no speculation to how long it was before permanent ice was at the poles again.

If that event is plotted on a sequence line that includes the 200M years it has taken to form the basins of the oceans that we have today. In the 200M years prior to the spreading taking place the mountain chains where lifted up as those places are where the earth's crust first cracked due to 'overheating' caused when the water that is on the earth arrived as snow that was -250degC and that was enough of an event to create 'snowball earth' and the ice would have melted in the highlands first and in the oceans basins last and that would be why water life is behind other form of life that take advantage of a CO2 rich atmosphere. That would be where the oldest tree fossils would be found.
Structures of any kind that still exist as a ruin are sometimes at high altitudes but in a would that is melting the ice the beach would be at an elevation we now call 'above 6,000ft' and the tops of the mountains would have had the first beaches and that is when those monuments were constructed and in use. Based on that alone the oldest would be the ones with the highest elevation.
EI the huge stones that create a partial wall would have had to be moved down one side of the mountain and up the other side. If the quarry and resting location are at the same level the a raft could have been used to float them across and the 'magical deeds' were not needed, other than to be alive and on the earth that far back. As the oceanic rifts widened the water level would drop and the beaches would keep getting lower. The elevation of the ancient megaliths would be based on that level dropping. Giza is not far above the level of the oceans today so that would make it one of the more recent megalith.
The sun and moon complex in Central America may have used the tidal waters to fill the canals. Some math could determine when that was based on their current elevation. Somebody was kind enough to have assembled a map that could be used to get the elevations.
Megaliths and the True Ancient History of Earth and the Inhabiting Races

They haven't adjusted the numbers yet.
Perhaps a few data sheets fell behind the file cabinet. That would be all it takes, see vid below for results.
