I honestly think Canadians thought they were getting an intellectual and independent thinker, an economic nationalist and strong federalist. What ever you think of his father's policies, and he made some major mistakes, Pierre was all of those.

In stead we got a petty ideologue steeped globalism, feminism, radical environmentalism, multiculturalism.. who is downright antagonistic to nationalism (economic and cultural), federalism, family (notably of traditional forms, as the vessel for rearing of children), rational science (as opposed to the cult of environmental pseudo sciences).

He's weak, pusssywhipped, vain.. a shill for New Age values.. completely unfit for office. People are just starting to realize they got Maggie instead of Pierre in the PMO Office. I honestly don't think he's capable of rising above the general disillusionment with his administration.

It's absolutely no surprise he's getting wrapped up in corruption, he really lacks the character or the vision to avoid it.

From a Christian perspective, does the family come first or does the state come first? And what happens when one belongs to an international family? Sacrifice the family for the state or promote more open borders? The Christian conundrum I suppose.

If you belong to an international family, firstly immigrating to a new country is a choice, but for immigrants who've decided that they want to stay, they have the option to sponsor their family. But for the people staying and accepting to become new citizens, which would hopefully mean they have children in the country of their choice, would in my opinion still have to put their family first, but teach staunch patriotism to their kids, else it would be sad to the children to not have a solid footage anywhere.

Everyone in the west knew we were getting another trudOWE. SO far his record is about as expected.

Patriotism need not be circumscribed. I'm a citizen of the earth.

The Liberals are showing dismal numbers in terms of job creation. 71,000 jobs went bye bye in June/July, only part time jobs became available!! They seem to be lacking skills at bringing new manufacturing jobs to Canada, or any type of jobs actually. We are dealing with hydro/gas increases, more taxes and a lousy dollar which businesses all hate; so logically businesses are turning away. The issue is that no one seems to be looking at it seriously or maybe they don't know what to do?? One thing is for sure, selfies, thousands of immigrants who can't find work, pay for access, and absentia is not working.
