China has the third most powerful navy, after the USA and Russia.
Taiwan, by the way, is #10.

Canada isn't on this list but we're down around #40. There was a time, still within living memory, when our navy was #3 but Canadians don't give a sh1t about our three ocean coastline, apparently.

Add Chinese Underwater drone hunters to the 'list of options' for our Navy. Get the good ones where the operator is on 24/7 call in his 'basement'. Know anybody with too much time on their hands??
That and Patriot type of an air force and that kind of cut-back can puts lots of people on vacation to start doing some important stuff. Like having fun for a change.
Hehehe...don't kid yourself. Trumpites are like the mouthy little shyte on the playground. Somebody just cuffed them in the ear. That wasn't supposed to happen. China is afraid of Trump in the same way the world fears the Brittish.
Actually the reduction of the size of the Canadian navy had little to do with lack of regard for Canada's coastline. It had to do with the ending of World War II and the fact that the hundreds of escort vessels that comprised most of Canada's navy were no longer needed.
