Do you get paid?
No. Everybody is a volunteer, providing their own time for training and searches. In addition everyone provides their own personal equipment. Some expenses are paid, such as gas for driving to a search site. However almost everything else is paid for by the team members themselves. We are regularly asked about employment or career opportunities. Because everybody is a volunteer the normal concepts of employment or career do not apply.

Who said "nobody" pays out of pocket? I don't but that's not what this is about

This is about the tax credit. The legislation doesn't say you have to pay anything. I dont. All I have to do to qualify is have my radio on for 4 hours per week. I don't even have to attend a call.

Perhaps if the 'Muslim' part was dropped the dust would settle. Toss them a rifle and see if they can break it down and put it back together. If they can without breaking anything give them a bus ticket that covers a few nearby big city and they head north until you are in 'the sticks' and that is where they will find the ammo and a few maps and a truck and similar people will keep showing up and there you are, 'Welcome to Canada and the Bar has broadband internet at every table and 'out back' the Black Ops VR is up and running for the ones that like to do their own tuck and roll and shoot in the game. Clearly anybody that isn't epically stupid like you knows that all you have to do is turn on your fire radio for 4 hours per week to get the tax credit. Muslims are totally useless, Muslims have NEVER built a successful country, Muslims have not made a contribution towards mankind in over 100 years etc etc. they are also the most costly immigrants

If we want immigrants we should be getting those that give Canada the greatest chance to be the most competitive country in the world. That means immigrating Americans and those from other advanced countries.
