I DID have the basic sense to try and take a pen with me to the polling station due to my fears of an Establishment stitch-up yet, despite my best efforts, I still ended up leaving my home without a pen. It was one of those moments of absent-mindedness that we call suffer from. So when I got to St William of York Roman Catholic Primary School (which is actually full of Muslims) to partake in my democratic right I thought "Sod it" and just used the erasable stationery that the British state provided me with.

Are you not provided with stationery in America when voting?
Many places in the US use machines instead of pencil and paper.

So there you go. You are provided with stationery, too, at polling stations. So you are just like us.

Are you telling me that you've never gone can anywhere and forgotten a pen? Because it's a really easy mistake to make.
For the most important vote of your life.

No, I don't "forget" stuff. And I don't need to use my "best efforts" to not forget stuff. Just a simple "spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch" check.

Guess you were too busy fantasizing about murdering half the British people to remember a damn pen.

Dead shocked, I am BL........really didn't think that Leave would win the day but the people have spoken and Britain will now work to wean it's way out of the EU. You must be over the moon today, understandably. Things will be pretty rocky for awhile so hold on tight and enjoy your victory.

I am over the moon. Just tired, though. I stayed up the whole night watching the results. Even when Leave had almost certainly, but not defintely, won I was scared to go to sleep in case I woke up a few hours later and disovered to my horror that Remain had made a remarkable comeback and just got over the finishing line first. I only got twenty minutes' kip. It was worth it, though.

We all forget things, especially pens. It's just one of those things. Still, it matters not now.

True. You got treason trials to plan.

Do you even grasp how incredibly ironic it is for somebody to piss and moan about democracy and then say he wants treason trials and hanging for anybody who votes different?

No. It voted Leave, just like most other places in this unexpected but much overdue mauling of the liberal Establishment.
So, will you be proceeding with the prosecutions of people who voted the other way in a perfectly legal, democratic referendum in parallel with the Brexit, or will you wait until you're completely out before you start the purge?

We'll have to wait until we are actually out.

We could maybe send the defeated Bremainiacs into exile to the British Overseas Territory of St Helena just like we did with Napoleon after we whipped his ****,too.

Let us all wait and see just how this affects North American countries. As much as the world economy is linked I expect to see some issues for investors in the market.

...and here is my greatest fear.. BREXIT doesn't just effect Britain or The UK.. if Scotland, and Ireland leave.. who is next???

Andrew Coyne: A successful Brexit could reignite moribund Quebec sovereignty movement

It may very well fuel flames of Sovereignty over here and break up Canada.

However today talking to folks at work, I found there are plenty who like Trump, but they are hoping Trump turns Canada into the 51st State.. I was was like WTF??

I think over the next few years we are going to witness History in many ways..
