You're quoting, and therefore adding to the conversation, the proposal that assault rifles are freely available in the U.S. That is not true.
What could you possibly gain from deliberately adding falsehoods to the conversation? Well, if you're a propagandist, there's the benefits to you of increasing confusing and diverting attention from the arguments you can't answer.
I think everyone's voice should be heard and I appreciate your input in clarifying any misconceptions.
