The NDP did not come out of this looking good at all, Nick. That still does not excuse the PM's behavior. He should have stayed in his seat. What came after he made the decision to leave it was pure unbridled hubris on show.

In hindsight, yes, he should have stayed seated. This should have been something for the Speaker to deal with. I can certainly understand the PM's frustration when faced with such juvenile antics, but he above all should have made a point of keeping his temper under control. That being said, it speaks volumes that the NDP continue to play it up the way they are while taking zero responsibility for instigating the whole scene.

Lots of noise and apologists - but really...there's no excuse for anyone, anywhere, anytime to say "get the f**k out of the way and physically grab someone by the arm. What do you think the result would be if a leader at a bank or other major company did that? It's possible they'd be fired on the spot but I suspect they'd be taking a leave of absence for sensitivity and anger management courses. Seriously - think about it. The "elbowing" was just a reckless consequence that has been blown out of all proportion. Trudeau's handlers have done an excellent job of keeping him on script - this is what happens when Trudeau's arrogant petulance emerges. Remember when he was accused of a "Bozo Eruption"? We'll be seeing more of them.

I'm fine too. Sup Homi?
Sometimes you just have to be a trooper and buck up.

When JT brings her a bunch of red roses does he pick her up and carry her out of the building as could have happened in the Ukraine Parliament awhile back??

Harper is intelligent, Turdoh is not.

Bush is intelligent BHO is not.

Is it that cut and dried Walter?

There's different kinds of smart- I think Trudeau is very book smart (which will get you far if you are on Jeopardy) but maybe not so far in the real world. Harper is cool, he doesn't panic easily. He's not impetuous like Trudeau. Give Trudeau 40 more years and he'll be more like Harper.

Actually Trudeau has Smarts, Harper has Wisdom!

you guys really don't like Trudeau, it seems. Would you rather have Harper for another ten years?

Bloody rights!

I'd say Andrew nailed it, JLM.

Yeah, there's a lot of wisdom between him and Chantal Hebert! :)

Good Evening JLM. How are you this fine evening?

Actually pretty good, apart from the depression of hearing lately of people I know who have/had it worse than I do! If you are breathing, walking and eating you have a lot going for you!

Spin?whiners?opportunists?
I think the more spin on this "accident "the more desperate the opposition parties present.

Like father like son- This is the biggest story to come out of Ottawa since Fuddle Duddle and "Just watch me". :) :)

Whatever you think of this week's events, @RE_Brosseau does not deserve this kind of abuse. Noone does. Very sad.
And if it was Harpo pulling a stunt like this, you would be defending him and calling all that were upset a bunch of leftards. You are everything you despise in others.

I thought the fuddle duddle line was the crown jewels of the Trudeau tenure. He was the only one to say what needed saying to that pack of hyenas.

So you noticed that, too. :) :)

As much as we'd rather have Bush.

Yeah, Bush was good too, for two reasons - he generally did what he said he was going to do and he didn't take any sh*t! :)

And those who are saying it is nothing (like yourself) would be calling for Harper's head. You know what they say about glass houses don't you?

I was calling for Harpo's head before he was elected. I didn't go around accusing people who supported him rightards or regressives. I find it interesting that conbots say "progressive" as if it was a bad thing.
