I don't know the correct answer, Gerry. I can say I've noticed a change in the weather since I was a kid (check the stats for B.C. for Jan. - March 1950). I think it's quite possible climate change has played a role, how much I wouldn't have a clue.

Our family has black and white photos from the 50's of my sisters and I tobogganing off the second story roof of our house on our farm in Saskatchewan. Haven't heard the likes of that in many a year now. Whatever the cause behind the change, I'm sure farmers in Sask today would love to see even half that amount blanket their fields in the winter.

I saw a guy on C.B.C. this morning, being interviewed who had just passed through Fort Mac in the convoy and he said he got a fairly good view of the down town core and most of the structures are still standing, the media having grossly exaggerated the amount of damage....................but then I guess that's how you sell newspapers! :) I

I suppose it depends on the source of the news, JLM. For the most part the reports I've heard about damage concerned personal property - homes, vehicles, boats, RVs, ATVs and such. I haven't heard a reporter say anything about the infrastructure of the town being damaged.

Damn Karma.

Tis the time of year for BC to burn again. Hopefully they can contain them.

Forestry managed to contain then put out at least ten fires in our area so far. The weather is helping things as we have had intermittent rainy days and hot sunny days. It was sunny and hot today - 27' and now the clouds have rolled in and I can smell the moisture in the air. Thank you Gaia.

The world is warming, is it. Maybe it just feels that way because you're getting closer and closer to hell each day.

Maybe you better write your bull sh*t down somewhere, so your stories don't contradict themselves later. I'm pretty sure it was you who only a few months ago said there is no Heaven or Hell!

Never said there was no heaven. You really do have a memory problem, don't ya. Do you forget the name of your kids and grandkids to? Or do you even have kids?

Nope, I believe your exact wording was that it's bull sh*t that people go to Heaven or Hell. (basically the same thing)

Don't have to, I know what your philosophy is on pretty near everything, so I'm hardly about to get my shirt in a knot over semantics! :) :) :)

Semantics? You saying that I said that there is no Heaven, and me denying having said that? Where would "semantics" come into it?

Doesn't matter how it was said Gerry. Truth is you don't believe people go to either Heaven or Hell after they die!

Here's an odd little charity to help Alberta. Petro Canada asked me to donate my Petropoints loyalty points to Alberta relief at the rate of 1000 points for a one buck donation.I did happily, of course. If everyone in the country added a handful of looneys, even this becomes serious money, I guess. One donation seems like pretty small potatoes though.

Hmmm, for some reason your post just made me start wondering what happened to my BCRIC shares. Those were shares issued by the province valued at a few dollars each that were supposed to make us all rich in B.C. Wonder what happened to them! :) :)

The Chinese bought them up at ten cents on the dollar.

Cliffy's statement was stupid and ignorant. He deserved to be called out on it.

Cripes! Which one?

This is by far the biggest natural disaster to have hit the country in my lifetime, for human impact, anyway. This is the wrong thread to post wierd sh1t.

Real people are hurting in the real world.

And you're a forgetful idiot. :) :) not to mention an obnoxious idiot.:)

Like I said, put up, or shut up. I believe that there is a heaven, I don't believe there is a hell. Simple. It's what I've believed.....for damn near...ever. You saying otherwise shows how much your limited brain power has deteriorated. I'm actually surprised that you can remember how to turn your computer on.

Why? It's still soaked from 2010-2015s crazy snows. No more thanks!
