He doesn't realize hot and cold expansion and shrinking is already part of the engineering. I doubt pipeline companies will be hiring Spanish builders to be pipelines like ON Govt does for bridges.
Pipelines must be the most energy efficient and therefore the "greenest" means of moving petroleum and gas. They will probably acquit themselves rather well, if an objective measure is the outcome that the testers have in mind.

It isn't the pipelines they want to test dummy. It is the touchy feely thingy about burning or selling that terrible Alberta oil. Meanwhile the same clods are OK with imported oil from third world countries cause it is only Canadian oil that will produce GHG.

ME oil does not contribute to globull warming. Neither does burning brown coal in Germany. All the effects of globull warming are caused by Alberta oilsands. Even flossy knows that.
