Yes your ideological crap.

Thanks for proving...

... to be true.

.

SO now you agree with what you misidentified as my ideological crap. Good you realize that OPEC controlling the flow of Oil isn't my ideological crap but a business model of supply and demand....

Iran says it won't moderate its plans to boost oil supplies - IRNAThanks for proving...

True enough but too simplistic. There a cartel (OPEC) that has controlled said production to their benefit and that cartel consists of 80% of the Worlds Oil.

When that Cartel restrains production to increase their profits, leftovers like Canada ride on that wave. Now that Sauidi Arabia, the key controller of OPEC has decided to abandon their production restraints Canada has to ride on that wave again unless someone can figure out a way to increase Canada's Oil price to a profitable level.....

Canada's economic situation (and energy security) would be in a far different place if the former governments-of-the-day had the balls to allow development of pipelines such that Cdn oil was the first and most economic choice to be consumed by Canadians.

As it stands today, much of the oil for Eastern Canada originates outside the nation, all in the name of the eco-tards that don't want pipelines.

.... Do you see the incongruity of your base position here?

You think it's the government's job to develop pipelines? Whatever happened to getting out of the way of business?

Perhaps you misunderstood something earlier

So you're saying you favor government intervention in the economy? I've been saying for some time now that Conservative Party supporters were not particularly fiscally conservative. I'm not sure why you have argued the point.

You need another cup of coffee.

It must be upsetting to you to realize that somebody you consider a fan of Trudeau is decidedly more fiscally conservative than you. Are you as "conservative" as CB in that you wish to nationalize the energy sector or are you somewhat subjective in where you think the government should stick its nose in?

It's bothering you that I'm not biting at your troll-bait.

... Really, try another cup and then think about getting back

He just wants his business to benefit.

People like you will never understand the dynamics and opportunities.

market turmoil creates more opportunities than you can imagine, but it requires creativity, fortitude and an appetite to embrace risk.

I would think so. Progressives and social conservatives both like big government. They just like it for different reasons. True conservatives support getting government out of business. The Captain really isn't as far away (politically) from Trudeau and Mulcair as he would like to believe/pretend.

And the truth is that if we were to entertain this idea of free enterprise and government abstinence, every industry would be fukked like the oil industry is now.

Oil isn't fukked. Prices are at natural levels and production volume steadily rising. Oil field construction took a real kick to the nuts though.

If we abandoned government intervention overnight, yes. If we weaned industry, then they would get stronger.
