I find that "Morally superior people often read and discuss the Bible or other holly books..
my take on it is that they mostly do it because it seems that you can always find some chapter in there to validate almost any moral shortcoming...
They usually skip right over the one about the speck of dust in his neighbor's eye....and go right to Do as I say.....
Most of this is from childhood memories and what I read when I verify what someone has posted...
I do have a Bible, given to me by my mother when I got married and the last time I opened it was probably over 40 years ago when I wrote in my son's name under his older sister's name with my wife's and my name.
