Re: Rex Murphy: The Liberal government does not have the right to unilaterally change

Maybe, but anyway, my condolences.

You seemed pretty hot on Canadians, which is unusual for you, you usually dig us.
I love Canadians. You have no idea how depressed I was when I found out that Canadian bacon is not, in point of fact, made from Canadians. Sadly, my lawsuit for false advertising was dismissed.

However, your recent bitching/gloating over Trudeabama being THE END OF THE WORLD or THE SAVIOR OF HUMANITY is getting a mite tedious. I'm facing eleven months of that crap, and I really didn't need the preview.

You wouldn't like bacon made from real Canadians anyway, too gamy.

I think you have me confused for someone else.

Perhaps for someone who understands that the singular and plural second-person pronouns must be divined from context in English.

Re: Rex Murphy: The Liberal government does not have the right to unilaterally change

I disagree.
You may have a point, I must admit.

Anyway, good think we have the conservatives (And ain't that ironic) to help protect Canadian democracy...

Conservatives vow to block electoral reform without referendum - The Globe and Mail
I assume the "good think" was a typo, however, it's eminently appropriate.

Of the Canadian parties, I prefer the Conservatives. Following the election more closely than I ever have before, largely due to my membership here, I found Mr. Harper's record, actions in office, and policies far more attractive than those of M. Trudeau or Mr. Mulch-hair. Calling him Stevie Minion was merely twitting him about his close-set eyes, not disagreement with his policies.

I just don't like politicians. Or politics. While freely admitting I have no say, nor desire one, I dislike the Conservatives the least.

That is usually how I decide whom I will vote for.

You have that right, anyone who ACTIVELY supports any brand of politics, is obviously not thinking clearly. I doubt if there's a politician alive who puts other people's interests above his/her own! (I recall one politician years ago who said he would decline on accepting his pension, but upon reaching pension age, he was wallowing in the trough just like the rest of them) :)

Yep, I confess. I'm not up on the minutiae of voting rights in a country with fewer people than California.

I've let down my family, friends, community, and country.

I like seeing a lawyer humbled.

Morally and ethically, it is. Anyone that thinks otherwise a moron.

It's interesting that you hide behind morals and ethics when you don't like the law but hide behind the law when the morals and ethics are inconvenient.

No doubt you see it that way.

But it's more likely that I don't hide behind law, as much as I can appreciate the law when it's sound, and see when it's an @ss.

Therefore your "interest" is more than likely caused by the same one dimensional thinking you do that forces you to come to other similarly erroneous, and more oft then not, stupid conclusions, like labelling me a "conservative".
