I hope you're right, do tyou think people in general will return to self employment? I do. Or they'll starve in winter.

Sixty days of ancient type winter and we're gone., for a while. White people come from the dark of winter, halalooya.

Good question, personally I'm taking things into my own hands, But I find the price of entry for manufacturing has risen. Could be a huge hurdle.

I have work scheduled all winter, and a delivery job on the side. Had to turn down some Home Depot resets. My good friend picked them up, might help him on a few as side jobs. Things are looking very good. May be my record earning year by the looks of things.

They are an oil province and they don't have value for oil right now it has
nothing to do with the NDP it has a lot to do with the Conservatives who
ignored everything but oil for four decades thinking the ugly would never
happen. Diversification didn't happen they need to have more than one
industry. The whining I hear is directed at the wrong people, and although
I don't want to see any Province go through this I remember when Ontario
was down, Quebec was down even BC at one time Alberta always said
be more like us. well other parts of the country attracted new ventures
especially BC in the last decade and things are better not always good but
better. If the government can attract new ventures and change from a one
commodity export things will not happen quite like this again.
Want some to blame, try Getty and Cline they spent the legacy fund that was
for times like this and it was foresight of Peter Lougheed who put it in place.
