Nope. Long before the Bible and your god were born some 4000 years ago, many humans found love. Humans that weren't even H. sapiens even.

As long as there have been humans there has been the good the bad and the ugly. It isn't anybodies God it's everybodies God.
That same good guy form is as old as the literal hills. Egyptian, Chaldian, Sumerian, it's a big list, philosophy was very popular, as it would be arround camp fires after dark, close to the beer.

What is "the love you had at first"? How do followers of Christ lose/regain it?
NT Gentiles have two commandments to follow, the first one is about our relationship with God. The first love is about love for the God in Ge:1:1. The scattering in 70AD was when people would also find other gods to follow meaning they lost their 1st love. The RCC with the Pope would also be an example of that sin.
The 7 letters are 14 relationships that God will consider when deciding if a person will be alive for the 1,000 year reign on this earth before the last resurrection takes place. The day the 7th trump sounds is when those relationships mean the most to a person as being part of the first group has certain rewards that are exclusive to this group.

Another way people can 'be lost' is to accept a different doctrine than the Scribes preached.

Even then getting around to when 'we' step into the place where the Great White Throne is and never leave takes some time and there are many things to learn between here and there. Our next task will be after we have glorified bodies. (probably means it takes more than 120 years)

Those are fighting words pilgrim.
As in ping-pong?

erm No. Sumerians predate any mention of Yahweh, Jehovah, etc. And there were many gods before An/Anu even.

Agree, MHz!

Throughout Scripture this pattern is seen. The commandments in Exodus 20 reveal it. The Lords' prayer in Matthew 6 supports it. The greatest commandment in Matthew 22 underscores it. And the letter to the Romans opens with it.

In all of these passages, the scribes are inspired by the same format. Moses, Matthew and Paul all write first about our relationship with God and second about our relationships with others. In this format, an essential truth is revealed:

Right relationship with God precedes and predicts right relationships with others.

A glorified body? What in hell are you reading? I can see the great white throne everyday baring overcast conditions. The light man, when will your fukkin light come on? Every thing and thought gets here and leaves here through that light. That's God. And it loves us otherwise we wouldn't be here, I'm not completely certain where here is but maybe it'll come to me when I'm planted in it Maybe I'll sprout limbs and leaves. Repeating the vegetable kingdom for sins committed in the meat kingdom I think I was busted all the way back to the bacterial kingdom a few times.
As much as it defies your imagination none of us can get out of the living room without many trials and tribulations, on average. Some of the old guys say six perfect grades and number seven sends you home to the undeferentiatedness of the one.
With #1 again. Thats most of the bible condensed for you. I don't think I left much out. A few details maybe, check it out with google.

MHz, you are a rock star tonight!

"For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough." (2 Corinthians 11:4 NIV)

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all." (Galatians 1:6-7 NIV)

Personally, I have seen enough of "God's love for us".

First love: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 NIV)

What a silly notion that the bible is the only doctrine that can lead us back to god. It is just plain egotistical. For more than a thousand years, until the reformation, biblical texts were the soul proprietary property of the Catholic church. Nobody in the rest of the world even knew about it. So you think that a loving god would keep its knowledge from the rest of humanity for all that time just so you clowns could be all self righteous about being the only ones who know what these ancient texts are all about? Sorry, but you two are farting in the wind as usual.

They cling to a demonstratable proven forgery of plagarized Mythology and natural philosophy jammed together in the fifth century or so and some, expicidly to make the bodily reserection the main thing when it never was for it's first ten thousand years of telling.

Yeah, yeah. I read that before. I am human, though; I have such things as compassion and understanding. I started loving my kids and have since not stopped and become indifferent to them.

What is "the love you had at first"? How do followers of Christ regain it?

"Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first." (Revelation 2:5 NIV)

Remember the outpouring of God's Spirit and love in your life at the time of your salvation and seek Him in His creation, in His word, in the Lord Jesus Christ, in service to others and in the company of the saints.

Aswering yourself is the work of the devil ya'no. Cover your eyes from the light, you ain't going home for a very long time.

It's very hard to love those more perfectly condemned to mistaken off white magic of some religious practice, nevertheless we are obliged to share the word.

In spirit, I am home, DB. For the Christian, eternity begins with Christ.
