Seriously though that sucks (no pun intended), I understand the shots to be quite the ordeal. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

But you should really try to milk the whole vampire thing cuz who has the opportunity to do that often in their lives.

Better than the alternative if the bat was rabid. Good on ya Juan for taking it seriously.

There are no foot long needles, and as far as I know none are given in the stomach. My advice to anyone bitten by a bat would be to get hold of the bat (with heavy leather gloves on)bring him to the doctor with you in an ice cream bucket or something. Most bats don't have Rabies but you don't know till they're tested.

Where would one buy Rabies vaccine? Rabies vaccine is ungodly expensive. As near as I can tell,
$7,000.tp 10,000.00 per shot.

Yay.... Just had the last of the Rabies shots......none of them particularly. My doctor tells me that I should now be fairly immune to rabid bat, cat, dog bites but he doesn't recommend that I go out and challenge any of these animals.

There were eleven shots in all.....pretty dull stuff really.

If I got bitten again I would go to public health dept and get one shot on the day of the bite and another the next day, that's it!

What you want with a steak is nice red wine or a lager. Holy Water should be paired with stakes only.

Apparently, if a dog get's the shot two years in a row, he then only has to go every second year......dunno about humans...
