He's flogging "yesterday's horse". It was about 10 years or so ago that the different methods of tallying ballots was looked at in depth and intensively and a unanimous conclusion was arrived at by the majority concerned that "first past the post" was the simplest, fairest and most accurate method. Who really gives a sh*t who comes in second, third or fourth. Anyone who can count to four can easily understand that if there are four contestants, it's theoretically possible to have a majority by getting 26% of the votes. Maybe the proper term is plurality but who gives a sh*t?
