I doubt they will be fired and I would guess Brady will miss games.
OK, you know how much I hate Brady, right?

With that background, the evidence presented so far is way, waaaaay too thin to suspend or fine him. A few snarky texts? Please.

If that's the standard, everybody's guilty of everything.

We sure put a high priority on sports. But the high profile professional sports does create jobs for people so that is one positive about the entertainment industries.

while it is true that some jobs are created, at the same time others are lost - here in Gopherland when St Paul paid for the Xcel Center as the news ice arena, the city nearly went bankrupt and we were forced to lay off 400 cops, teachers, and firemen -- this is a tradeoff in jobs that the news media rarely discuss because their owners also own the teams and benefit from taxpayer financed stadiums and sports franchises

Good. Cops, teachers, and firefighters are socialist.

And you're sexist. We prefer the term "firefighters." Or "persons of incendiary extinguishment."

I am in agreement with you... I just THINK they will either fine or suspend him or both.

Socialist? OK, I can accept that.

But then, so are military personnel, politicians, and judges.

As for sexist - nah, I don't think we had any female firefighters at the time of those layoffs. Therefore, the old temr was OK for that time.

My guess is if they suspend him, it will be for exhibition games only or something inconsequential. I doubt Goodall will do anything too strong to upset his good friend Kraft.

Of course, he may go completely the other way and do a huge suspension to make it appear he is not biased. But the last Patriots cheating scandal was a slap on the wrist and swept under the rug so if betting, I would bet on more of the same.

I haven't read every detail in this thread, but has anyone at all considered that if you inflate a ball indoors at room temperature and then bring it outside in the middle of winter that the ball will not be the same pressure as it was before you brought it out? Isn't it just basic thermodynamics that temperature and pressure are directly proportional?

They should void the cup for the year and have the team stricken from the
record as well as fines and suspensions. The fine was too low as well.

I had a good bowel movement this morning and the toilet received it without complaint.

Seems like a tempest in a teapot, since everyone on both teams handles the same ball!
