They cheated. It's irrelevant how much they won by.
It is relevant in the fact that the way the Colts played they would have lost the game whether the balls were of the correct pressure or not. There would have been an even bigger outcry - if that is possible considering the legs this story has - should the final score have been much much closer.
But yeah, they cheated and the sad thing is that all this negative attention before the Super Bowl only serves to further tarnish a league all ready dealing with far too many controversies.
Cheaters and liars with a shot at another Super Bowl ring.
Tough time to be a Patriot's fan.
Go Riders!
So I hear that we traded Foley for Emery. Emery had his problems last year, same as Ricky - one too many selfish penalties. Good player if he can play clean.
That contradicts the news report that I heard, that the ball was under inflated. Was it done intentionally?
So the Patriots didn't really have a motive for under inflating the ball?
They must have had a motive, JLM else why bother. That motive from what I understand would be to give the QB an advantage as a deflated ball is apparently easier to handle which makes sense when you think about it, thus he would have a much better chance of completions. Hope that helps.
