yes, anaheim definitely had chances right away to end the game, but didn't happen, so there you have it,
flames have a game.

good for them, like night and day from the duck's rink to the flame's rink, but flames' will have to win
one in anaheim if they have any intention of winning the series.

chicago def. minnesota 1-0 , patrick kane scored the goal. chic ahead 3 games to 0

Broadway Blues look to be in big trouble. They just cannot handle the physicality of teams like the Caps as small lineups usually get worn done by season's end.

And then it was 1, 1 for Montreal and T.B. until the last second of the third period!

yes, tampa bay are doing it, price cAn't win for them, he isn't being invincible.

Caps physicality forces Blues to take weak shots and this eases the game for the goalie. Rangers did not really take too many good shots except for that top shelf one that got in the net.

i didn't see the game, but the sports guys mentioned how good holtby was, so i'm going on their say so.
but i sure noticed in last game how much stronger washington look physically and
size than the rangers.

anaheim have that kind of team, big and talented, chicago don't, but they can beat any kind of
team with their talent and speed and goalkeeping, doesn't matter how big they are.

there's no question that he got the job done - ditto for all the Caps players as they are obviously a well coached team

yes, trotz has been good for them, ovi said he is like a father figure to him, maybe that is why he is so steady And behaves himself And really plays good hockey.

I wonder if Price isn't starting to tire!

there is a lot of pressure on him, his team isn't scoring enough to win games unless he doesn't
let in anything, that is the way it is on that team.

there is nothing wrong with him, it is the rest of the team that seem tired, and even tampa bay
doesn't look overwhelming to me, i think any of the other teams in the playoffs could beat
either one of those teams, tampa wasn't that impressive against detroit either, not enough
goals scored, depend too much on stamkos.

Montreal did just about everything right tonight, most importantly they forced Game 5 at home after coming back with a vengeance while facing elimination. They took care of Bishop then continued to score on his replacement. Super Max scored another short-handed goal to add to his total in the play-offs.

In coming back to win this game after being down 3 - zip to Tampa Bay in the series, the Habs also made history having never been able to do so prior to this win. Whether or not they go on to take the series they will most certainly be hailed as heroes when they next meet the Bolts in the Bell Centre on Saturday - as well they should.

i'm wondering what happened to tampa tonight, maybe they choked at the thought of being able to
eliminate montreal tonight, they didn't look like themselves at all, and montreal cAn't chAnge
them that much, even though they played better, tampa better look in the mirror And find their
game, a team has to be able to give it their all when they hAve the hAmmer, they sure didn't do that.
i can see montreal winning the game, that is one thing, but folding like a cheap tent is another, they Are a much better team than that.

looks like minnesota is going home. that was a wierd series, chicAgo bubbling with confidence playing

fast And furious and showing great talent, and minnesota, with a team full of high end players, equally

as good As chicAgo, didn't win A gAme. seems to me that chicAgo hAd the confidence to get it done, And

minnesota didn't really believe they could beat chicAgo, so they didn't, maybe next year.

chicAgo 4 minnesota 3 oh oh, still 4 minutes left in the game. nhl stat sheet looked to me like the game was over, will be soon. this is getting interesting.
this is amazing, toews hit the goalpost missing an empty netter, now chicago
has a penalty, too many menon the ice, fourteen seconds left.
chicago wins the game 4-3, sure glad i turned it on, most exciting ending in the
playoffs so far.
it was 3-1 when i posted incorrect final score with 4 minutes left, then all hell
broke out.

chicago wins the series, any team who wants to beat them out in the conference
final better bring their fAstest skates they own.

if minnesota had of played ther whole series like they played the last 4 minutes
they at least could have won a couple of games, now they know.
chicAgo were full of confidence, they have been to conference finals many times in
the past years, lots of experience.

well thats amazing, rangers were 40 seconds away from elimination, at which time they would have been
trashed by all of their fans, but no, wait, they scored, tied the game, then won it in OT, And live
to play another day. series is 3 gAmes to 2 for washington.

anaheim def. cAlgary which put the series at 3 games to 1 for anaheim, and now back to anaheim for next
game.

rangers seem to be their ole selves again, the game was pretty good, saw some of it, not all, so now
they go bAck to new york for game 7, rangers could do it now, capitals don't seem to have that 'much'
stronger look any more, this is anyone's series.
rangers have 11 canadian players, capitals have 14

anaheim down 2-1 end of 2nd period. everything just seems to be going calgary's way so far in this game,
they aren't playing better, just getting the bounces, a bit more puck luck, we'll see how 3rd period goes.
game tied at 2 in the 3rd.
calgary have 18 canadian players, anaheim have 15

ok, anaheim have eliminated calgary, in OT, calgary were badly outshot during
the game, but they gave anaheim all they could handle. now anaheim moves
on to play chicago, should be a hell of a series.
chicago has 13 canadian players.

if tampa's goalie doesn't pick up his game, montreal will win this series, if price
does his thing montreal will win, i've lost lots of respect for tampa, they aren't
the strong team they showed all season, especially bishop, montreal have picked
up their game, guess they can see the 'holes' in the tampa team. game seven will
be interesting.

montreal have 15 canadian players, tampa have 10

looks like montreal have a break in this playoffs, as callahan had emergency appendectomy, and is finished

for the playoffs, for tampa. he is a key player, they need him badly.

Sure didn't seem to slow them down one bit, talloola - especially with Steven getting his game back. The Habs were all but pitiful tonight and TB was spot on for most of the night. I imagine this was the team you were wondering about in one of your prior posts - no worries tonight and now they have sealed the deal. Kudos to the Bolts - they played the better game and deserve the win. And that empty-netter just put paid to any outside chance for Montreal.

Now I only have the Rangers to cheer for...............and of course of Canadian Men at the World's.

yeah, thats the team, not cheering for either one, but tampa was much better all season, montreal was
so so, it was all about carey price.
it was time for tampa to get their game back, stamkos showed up, and the rest of the team
looked like it was theirs to take, and that they did. i would usually cheer for montreal, but i
didn't like how they played this year, didn't think they deserved this series.

yeah, go rangers go, but this series is anyone's, and ovetchkin said they are going to win it, so
i guess they don't have to bother playing, he allready knows the ending, yeah, we'll see about that.
