Give them all the room they ask for and attach the cost of the facility and the rental of the space.... You'll see exactly how devout they are when they have to pay-to-play
they just need a small room with nothing in it...one can add bibles or the torah or the koran and a few chairs if you want doesn't cost much and a few dollars added to tuition would cover the space

I do have a problem when everyone is suing everyone for slights real and imagined that was
not the intent of multiculturalism but it is the future of the present program that does
not work very well
we are a litigious society and that isn't the result of multiculturalism, it is rather a combination of greed and entitlement

In 1915 we had real multiculturalism where everybody was fresh from every place on the planet. Which worked better;"then or now?"

Definitely now.

I am not a devout Christian, Moslem, Hindu, or Jane. However, providing a quiet, private space for prayer, regardless to how many Gawds one is worshipping - three, one, or one hundred three - is a small accommodation.

Public prayer for a specific religion to the exclusion of others before a secular council meeting is a breech of freedom from and of religion.

Somebody would sh-t fit if myself and friends did Eucharist in a public park. I guarantee it would piss somebody off.

Easter sunrise service every Easter morning at a public park in Scarborough my church participates in a joint church service with Communion. Only issue we ever had was rain, snow or cold.

In major Canadian cities, at Easter, outdoor Ways of the Cross wind through streets and parks. No one objects, least of all atheists, Baptists, Moslems, or Buddhists. Perhaps commuters travelling to work...

It would piss everyone off in a New York minaret but it would still be my Right.

Pun intended.

Blend in or blend over!

The comment was made in order to illustrate that many people demand select rights but shy away really fast when a real responsibility is attached.

yes I understand that. Devoted Muslims have to pray five times a day. For those who are thus inclined their desire to do so is protected. I can't quite figure out how one accommodates the schedule into the work place but I guess they do somehow.

That's great, I say let them practice their faith any way they see fit but in a manner that does not impact the other students in that school.

If a special room or space is required, the cost of that space should be borne by the students themselves (families) in addition to any lost time in classes be the sole responsibility of that student.

Let's not forget that this is a fee-for-service-school and those families that are not Muslim also have the right not to have their children be affected by the actions of others.
