I agree that you should be 20 times more critical about residential swimming pools, but you haven't been.

20 times more, hey! And ya, I haven't been critical about "residential swimming pools"... at all - never mentioned it. Of course you know that and, of course, you're only agreeing with YOURSELF!

please proceed to show just how trivial you presume to make your case over "residential swimming pools" being the/an equivalency to gun violence, gun murders, gun deaths.

ya, ya... this is always GOLD whenever you trot it out! It completely diminishes/ignores the lethal degree impact a gun holds, the prevalence of guns, the attached impulse severity affect, the assault escalation aspect, etc., etc., etc. The relevant stats are the ones you categorically refuse to accept... those that are directly related to guns!

DO you know anything at all about any subject you post dumb comments to?

is this you providing a positive contribution to the thread? If you believe a particular comment to be, as you say, "dumb'... it's certainly your prerogative to take that comment on and speak to said dumbness. Be well - have a nice day.

4.147 divided by .039 is 114, so I was giving you alot of slack and leeway when I said '20 times'. But hey! if you can't be 20 times more critical, then why would you even consider 114 times? I doubt that you care one bit. In fact, I suspect you are just a troll, and don't care one bit about this topic.

Not trivial at all. Stop being so obtuse and insensitive.

Number For children less than 15 years old
4.147 Swimming pool drowning deaths per 100,000 residential swimming pools
0.166—0.214 Accidental firearm deaths per 100,000 households with at least one firearm
0.039 Accidental firearm deaths per 100,000 firearms

tragic, just as tragic as this one

you should be very concerned about someone bringing a swimming pool to a school. And by jeebus, you just can't be sure if someone is packin' a concealed swimming pool! Cause like, uhhh... the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a swimming pool is a good guy with a swimming pool...

But that's different. We all know swimming pools just sit there waiting for prey while guns, especially legal ones just go out and look for victims all on their own.

Can I ask, From both sides, for everyone to give me names of those who you think best represents your views on Gun Control in Canada.

I would like to do a panel discussion, sit down on the web via livestream with 2-3 well-spoken individuals and discuss the topic.

These people could be people on the forums, Youtubers, politicians, etc. Obviously I can't sit down with Stephan Harper, but I just want people who are educated on the topic, can supply facts and are well spoken.

Just give me names, I'll look them up and contact them, see if I can put something together.

I actually thought I'd get more responses from this forum. Anyways, someone suggested Rod Giltaca.

If I can at least get one pro gun control candidate, I will get in contact with both of them.

Colpy would be a good one to articulate the pro-gun side. He is knowledgeable, logical, and quite moderate.

You should look elsewhere for an anti. I'm the best anti here, and I'm pro.
