The numbers of Obama haters are legion.

Btw, the Taliban leaders exchanged for Obama are scheduled to be released by Qatar in a couple of months.
So? It is US interference in the Muddles East that creates terrorists. If those guys stayed in captivity, a hundred more would take their place over night. The only way to stop terrorism is shut down the Pentagon.

I know you're not one dimensional. So why is your post so one dimensional. Terrorism will never end except the way the Sri Lankan Govt. did with a mighty assist from China.

If Obama got the US out of the middle east and everywhere else, except Canada, the US wouldn't experience terrorism itself. Or at least to the degree where it was thought necessary to transform itself into a police state in order to combat terrorism.

It's Obama's fault.

Charging him with desertion is political bullshtt in view of the fact that the government has allowed Ukrainian draft dodger and Olympic ''hero'' Vyacheslav Glaskov to abandon his own country and by granting him asylum. When Americans entered into Canada to avoid combat the right winger got all fcuked about it. Yet they remain silent over a national Olympic "hero" suddenly turning pussie poo and entering our shores to hide while his peers fight.

The government needs to apply the law on a uniform basis. If it is going to charge Bergdahl with desertion then it needs to send back Glaskov to be enlisted in Ukraine's military and forced to fight.

He said the Ruskies invaded his village but he ran so fast that they couldn't catch him.

Imagine that - a national ''hero'' openly admitting that he ran away! Too bad this only appeared during the interview on satellite tv before his bout with USS Cunningham - a bout that, as far as I'm concerned, he lost 7-5. Here is his Twitter account so that anyone can get in touch and ask him point blank if he didn't run away:

Maybe you don't know but there is a monumental difference between draft dodgers and someone who deserts his fellow soldiers in a theater of war...non?

Follow your orders and you get the "honor" part. "Distinction" is a little tougher.

I am not seeing how he followed orders. Abandoning post and seeking out the enemy to live with them was most likely not the plan of the day.

I'd love to see your citation to where the U.S. government has the obligation, or even the authority, to enforce Ukrainian law.

Oh dear, you missed where I said "right up until he deserted."

Assuming that he did desert, which has not been proven.

Oh dear... he abandoned post.

Oh dear... oh dear dear.

The night I arrived on Parris Island, when we got off the bus a recruit decided not to run through the hatch into the building to begin processing and choose to run down the street instead. He served honorably up to that point. lmao

The cases are obviously not parallel. I assume you know that and are just kicking up dust. If you don't know that, you're beyond help.

Perhaps he woke up to the fact that he was not serving his country (like so many others) and could not live with himself if he stayed.

I love the US system of you are guilty until you can prove yourself innocent. He has not only been found guilty but sentenced by the court of popular opinion, one that has been handed to the sheeple by the media. People are beyond stupid.

Yes they are. As an example, there are people who believe that a "court of popular opinion" exists and can take legal action.

Northern Ontario,
This is the first time that I hear that a court martial is influenced by public opinion.
And that Bergdhal is a hero to some people in this forum...
