It always makes me laugh when I hear people talk about young people and their "entitlement attitude"
And not realize that those a generation behind them said more or less the exact same thing about them. Thats been going on for thousands of years. Im hoping I dont wind up being one of those people saying the same bs when im older.

...or paying debt servicing costs for all the social benefits and increased standard of living the older generations received. Yup, I get benefits and I pay for them, unlike the older generation. I'm not complaining mind you. I'm simply pointing out what a bunch of hypocrites some of our seniors are.

Every tax payer participates in debt whether they want to or not. The younger generations will pay more when it comes to servicing the debt then they get from the program benefits. Some us think think we need to live within our means however seniors are the biggest voting block and they do so love their entitlements.You never participated in the debt?

I choose trades. Got 17 years of experience and I'm 35 years old. With so many boomers retiring recently It's hilarious how I've become the only person who has any clue as to what is going on, on a job site, overnight I've become king.
Not at my regular job. I don't have to. I'm more productive. Since we don't have the same level of social programs, I work far more outside of work than my parents or grandparents did.

That is going around Angstrom. Down here a good number of our non-mechanical jobs are going to immigrants (legal and illegal). Also a good number of IT jobs are going to H-1B visas. Some US citizens are even having to train H-1B immigrants that will be replacing them in order to get their severance pay.
