Why couldn't Chief Richard Ben pay his reserve's bills?

I just meant I've seen posted salaries that I found to be far more egregious.
What percent is that of the total budget?
Nipping some travel expenses would pay for that service and then some considering ho networking can be done from any mobile device.

Yup. Beats being a brain cripple sucking the AISH *** like you.

Does that bother you?

Now that you mention it, I have it on good authority that the reason you went to Saskatistan in the first place was that you were punted off AISH here in Alberta. That would explain your expertise when it comes to AISH.

Let me think on that, no considering my pension pays a good part of it and any win in Court would have that paid back as the case covers lost wages, down from $80/yr to $20k/yr. EI can go fuk themselves because of the seasonal worker false ****.

I'm quite sure you and Petros consider labourer wages as "good". I would as well if all I could afford was a TV like yours.
For all you 'success' you ended up spendong a lot of your time with us 'knuckle draggers'. How the mighty have fallen.

I've never had the misfortune of being an Alberta resident.
There ya go, the first win/win of your life most likely. Those Chinooks do take some getting used to.

we'll have to ask taxslave for his experience again, since he is, after all, a real fire fighter.

Its a shame that a few kids that had nothing to do with this were the ultimate losers. Likely their parents didn't know anything about the unpaid bills. That 80 k is tax free, so do the math. Seems top heavy to me to have so many government officials.

But don't let Indian affairs get off scott free on this. They gave them the contributions and grants for infrastructure support. Didn't they bother to check the financial statements? Didn't they bother to make it a contribution requirement, that essential services were covered? No, it took a lot of f'ck ups and ****y policies to make this happen.

Couple of kids are dead because no one gave a ****. Oh well, unfortunately, such is life.

And one final note, I'll bet those firefighters, justification aside, felt pretty bad about the outcome. (And I'm not suggesting for one second that its their fault.)

Is white a babysitter?
The majority of canada is white. So white is, in a sense the defender of rights. Those kids lost their right to life. If the majority has no problem passing laws and implementing policies when it pleases, then the majority also has an Our policies let some reserve not pay its essential bills. Our policies paid these people to look after the people in this reserve, and our policies failed to offer, exercise oversight. We have too many examples of leaving these folk in charge and watching them f;ck up. We do nothing, and in place we manage to pass it off saying things like you just did.

It is racism. To believe that this chief and council look after their "own" people is absolutely nonsense. Do you believe you are one of Harper's people because you're white? (Substitute the name of the PM if you like.) Those kids were not "their" people. They were simply people. And ****tie policy, laziness, administrative ease, and likely greed, killed those kids. Not race.

I place the blame on the parent who didn't spend $15 for a smoke detector.

When you read the details of the incident, as RCMP arrived they saw " a man carried 2 small children out of the fire " they died at the scene. The sad truth seems to be they would likely not been saved by the firefighters anyhow. Not that it matters when a great cry of injustice is available for use.

2 kids died
in a fire
a fire that should not have happened
that should be the story

A smoke sector would have saved their lives. $15 measly dollars. Just shy of a pack of smokes or less than a pack if you live in MB.

The simple fact is there is a huge insurance liability for firefighters to go outside their area. That is why we have mutual aid agreements in place with surrounding areas. Then there is the matter of distance. If run time is more than 15 minutes the likelyhood of saving anything besides the foundation is about zero.
