It's investor-favoured policies, Free Trade arrangements and union-busting tactics that make moves to offshore locations attractive to profit suckers. The rest of your red herrings? Figure it out yourself. Am I a product analyst?

Well being as there is no viable alternative that would be a YES. Preferably majority. There is still a long way to go to repair all the damage done to the economy by many years of socialist governments.
Be honest and admit, Canada cannot afford another term of tories. I don't mind a mild depression every so often but enough is enough!! Any other party will do better, or have none of you Conservatives noticed yet that EVERY time we elect these bums, we end up in a recession or depression.

Depends on the situation. Above all, individual liberty.

Pie in the sky buddy, you have as much individual liberty as your respect for the laws and conventions of this country permit and not an ounce more.

You mad? It has everything to do with the topic.

How does a Govt do that?
Going to war, instead of reinvesting in Canada, selling Canada's raw materials to the highest bidders, cutting back on the cash that taxpayers have in their pockets. Have you any notion of what brings on depressions?? If not I will enlighten you. It takes money in ALL Canadian pockets to spend. If a government puts all it's money into selling raw materials, wars etc., no money circulates, ergo depression and bankruptsy.

Conservatives have always worked on the premise that by making sure the rich get big tax breaks they will cause employment to increase, thereby keeping a balanced economy going. That time is gone. It never worked anyway, since feudal times when the Lord of the Manor looked after those that ran the estate and the peons were kept solvent. Even back then, it didn't work anyway, because the rich liked being rich and took too big a share. The peons revolted. Very little of the profits of the Lords of the manor filter down these days. So, unless we peons make sure we get our fair share, we will be the big losers!!

The world has changed and along with it, the industries, innovations, inventions by other than big corporations is a game changer. The instant millionaires that pop up nearly daily in the world we now live in, have changed it. No one keeps the same job for a lifetime, and the changes are coming so fast, that the old ideas, ways of living, standards are changing so fast that no one and certainly not the old methods being used by the Conservatives, are sufficient to keeping a balanced economy here in Canada. So think very carefully about your vote. Even a coalition government between two or more parties would be better than having the Harper government in for another term.

What are these raw goods that we never sold before?

War? Haven't came close to a war that would impact the economy.

Why do you praise the works of one devoted to selling Canada out to investors and the highest bidder? Canada is Canadians - ALL Canadians
What was sold off to the highest bidder? What did Harper sell off?

Are you nuts?? of course you are......hoping for a pipeline to Texas to pass in the US, so Texas can refine our oil and sell it back to us for instance. Oh, I guess you haven't yet noticed the drop in oil prices along with how Canada's worth has dropped in the last few weeks.....never mind you will when you come to buy groceries in about a months time.

As far as what was sold off to the highest bidder or perhaps the only bidder, is our independence. When did we vote about going to war?? Did I miss that??

Of course, there is a great deal that is kept from us these days since the Harper Government, keeps such a tight control on what his party members are allowed to filter down through the media to the mere voters, so I don't wonder about how little you seem to have noticed.

Why would they sell it back to us? Where did you get that bizarre idea? All we have is oil? Ask Martin why you didn't get a vote for war. Ask Martin why he signed on to NAFTA with Mexico. Ask Martin why he spurred the oil economy and devised the pipelines and ports scheme. Ask Martin why he cranked the snot out of Asian trade.

All Harper did was carry out what the Liberals started. The next Libs will continue on the same path. The future is set, you can't turn back time by 15 years.

Surely even you know the difference between sold off and sold OUT. I hope the stupid is just an act....

What was sold out?

What was sold out?
Huh?? Why should we refine our own oil?? because the employment would be Canadian, and the profits as well. Since Harper took us to war in the middle east, what does Martin have to do with that?? And since Canada buys most of the equipment and armaments for war, what makes you assume it would take some time for it to show on our economy?? In the Conservative years our troops have been deployed in one war or another. At least the Liberals refused to take part in the Iraq invasion and didn't fall for WOMD scam and at least stayed clear of that one.

What does NAFTA and Mexico have to do with going to war or building a pipe line to Texas?? As for turning the clock back 15 years, don't have to worry about that. The strong influence in the US, (if the Republicans don't get in) is NOT wanting miles and miles of oil pipe lines running through their towns and farmlands. Where did you get the idea that free trade was bad for Canada?? Canada actually is able to sell a good many products in the US, so the trade is not all one sided as it use to be. You must be aware of how often the states have tried to reopen the deal and why?? Or maybe not......It is because Canada's negotiator made a really good deal for us.

When the Liberals left office they left this country in good shape and it was able to withstand Harper's incompetent running of the country in the early years. Unfortunately, I suspect we will be joining the European community in the worst financial position we have experienced since the 30's if Harper is reelected.
