Re: ‘National moral disgrace’: Over 1 in 5 US children on food stamps & living in pov

Women gave birth to a baby head...Nothing more than a head. Miraculously the head survived...She called it, Hedley. She would prop Hedley up in the window because he/she(?) liked to watch the kids play outside and dream about being able play with them.

One night Hedley saw a shooting star stream across his bedroom window, and took the opportunity to wish upon it. He wished he had arms, legs, a body like other kids, and could go out and play, with the other kids.

Next morning he awoke to his dream realized. He had arms, legs, and body! He quickly jumped out of bed, ecstatically ran down stairs yelling, "Ma, Ma...Look...I'm a normal kid...I wished on a star and my wish came true! Can I go outside and play with the other kids?"
" Of coarse you can son," his mom replied, laughing unbelievably through tears of joy at her son; the miracle.

She watched as Hedley ran out into the yard and towards the children...As he crossed the street, out of nowhere came a truck and hit the child. Killing him dead!

Moral of the story?

Sometimes it's best to quit while your a head.

There are many different things you can base you're happiness on in you're life.
Philosophy can help you give yourself a perpuse and goals to achieve.

Achieving those goals will give you a sense of happiness and accomplishment.

Changing the world is setting the bar a little high.

I've set the bar at survival, and can teach my children core values like being generous to the poor as "very important"
See how we are different you and I.

I started small and hope to grow big
You started big and will never accomplish anything.

Your mistake Angstrom is in your assumptions. 1 being; that you think you know me.

All I know is you take on too big a task, and you whine about things that are out of you're control.

By somebody who is also full of ****. at least he is here and not roaming around in the real world. lol Sounds like his personal story.

Seems they upped their exemption.
Asset Exemptions
Vehicles
Any number of vehicles in which the total equity is $10,000 or less is exempt.
Note
Equity means the value of the vehicle(s), after subtracting money owed on the vehicle(s) from the market value of the vehicle(s).

Although clients are required to “access all resources available outside of the program” there may be situations when a worker may need to consider further exemption of a vehicle asset. The worker should consider:

Workers may exceed the $10,000 vehicle asset limit when a member of the household unit requires a vehicle:

That's Alberta, she was in Ontario, and it was a number of years ago. Do try and keep up.

I don't have much time to waist on others, as you can see all my energy and time is spent on helping and educating my own children and producing my own survival.

My life goal is to survive. My happiness is based on succeeding that, all my energy spent on this goal. Survival means not going extinct of course, as many healthy children as possible are needed to accomplish that.

Most of you will probably find that a weird philosophy . But I'm happy.

Unlike Christians I belive that eternal life is achived by not letting you're DNA go extinct.

and how many kids do you have?

I started small and hope to grow big
You started big and will never accomplish anything.

Hope to grow big? Then I guess you won't be growing at all with such a defeatist attitude.

Too much tough love is just as damaging to a sociaty then too much unconditional love.

Not being able to spell society is kind of a bummer too. Really messes up society. Not on East Hastings, but, in general.;-)

answer the question. You spout all kinds of big things about not going extinct. How many kids?

Also, no comment on "hoping"? Living within your "capacity" is a cop out for not taking chances, not dreaming big, and being too scared to do anything more than the status quo.

Pretty piss poor attempt at avoiding extinction for someone that rants and raves about the need to increase the population.

I think our culture as a sociaty is sick, I'm looking to find the root problem instead of waisting my time patching up the victim.

Both need to happen

It's not my role to patch up victims

You are a victim of our society but your to dense to understand that. So you won't help the victims eh. Well that's a strike against you where it matters buddy.

Why not, discussions should be given freedom to wonder.
