In Britain, we usually watch things like that in the cinema. They're marvelllous things.

We use to have theatres, with big screens....back in the '70's and before that.
There would be one, or two maybe, screens in a theatre. It was an experience.
Big screens. Big sound. Big....

Now we have multiplexes. Stuff 8-10 smaller screens in the place where there
use to be one or two. Now they're like shoe boxes. Little rectangles. It's sad.
They aren't a good experience. It's now like a large rectangular living-room
instead of a theatre from days gone by.

lets see...

Saw guardians of the galaxy with the 5 yr old in the theatre, last summer, and loved it. He was slightly disappointed because he wanted there to be zombies...

Wife and i went to the battle of five armies before christmas, because we are huge tolkein fans and love what peter jackson has done with the adaptations.

Also saw a bunch of stuff on netflix. I tend to like suspense-action-sci fi-fantasy stuff and they have a large portfolio.

i am grooooooot!!!!!!

just watched Jeremiah Johnson again. I tend to watch old movies repeatedly. They say that could be a mental illness. I hope so.
One of my faves. I particularly like Will Geer's character.

We watched "Lucy" last night. Pretty good. Lots of action. Worked
out the subwoofer....visually awesome.

I really enjoyed Lucy. Scarlett is not only beautiful to look at, she made the character of Lucy amazing.

Watched the Corner Gas Movie before that. Pretty good if you
enjoyed the series.

I saw this on TV recently. Agree with this assessment. It was an extended TV episode.

Saw on Netflix "The Other Woman". Saw the trailers and it looked funny. But it was long and boring with all the funny parts in the trailers and being isolated to about 2 ten minutes sections of the whole movie. Plot was super simplistic too.
