France has some of the strongest gun control in Europe, how did that work for them today. Bad guys have guns, law abiding citizens sheep to the slaughter.
If this had happened in many American states, there would have been people shooting back at the terrorists, this is an example why gun control is insanity.

That explains all the return fire from armed citizens in Aurora and Phoenix, I guess.
so, then there would have been multiple people running around shooting at everything and how would the cops know which were the baddies and which were the americans? It sounds more dangerous to have everybody shooting it up.

Not really. Contrary to Boomer's fantasy, there have been virtually no instances of armed citizens stopping mass shootings. Oddly, on the rare occasions it happens, it's usually unarmed citizens taking down the shooter.

I never understood the logic of getting rid of innocent people because they share the same religion as the guilty ones.

I think it stems from the inability to determine who the inoccent ones really are. Is it better to be rid of the lot of them (guilty & innocent) and be 'safe'?

Right again. I remember when Jared Loughner started shooting up that grocery store parking lot in the gun loving state of Arizona. There were....um...let me think...I can't recall. Do you know how many people returned fire? I bet there was probably 30 or 40.
