Good gawd you people are silly.

Nice response now answer the question:

What would you have decided to do if you were faced with the same situation?

Would you try to stop it as soon as you could or would you run away and call the police while hiding in a bush, hoping it would all work out for your girlfriend?

Or something else?

Very simple thing to answer.

Every situation has the potential to be completely different. What I do know is that beating somebody to a pulp is not an answer. I understand it is to those of lesser intellect and I know there are lots of folks who like to talk tough. Fortunately, for me, I've moved beyond the Neanderthal mentality. You are not the first silly individual that has tried to suggest that the option was between giving the guy a hug and beating him half to death. That's ridiculous.

I probably couldn't find the right post but in a post meant for me there was a black guy in that one also, any chance it was a selfie and not from anything that could be considered to be ' a collection'. I rember back in the day when all the racy stuff (watch multiple levels at work here)

About this time I wound shut up and not post this but 'in the spirit of things' this latest 'flare up' might have been avoided on my part if my question that I asked that dealt with clearing up a post (2 actually) in which an established relationship allows for a bit of 'hidden animosity' that is (hopefully) condition that would allow for a snide comment and the hope would be it goes over the head of one person but 'friends' catch up, most likely not the first time it happened. When confronted ignore the question to a point where the post probably can't be found (in your case). The reason this part exists, we already have buttons available in red and green and a few for members but not an 'answer the question' button so my delima is push it or let it go. Not in my style (slow lifestyle and lots of time to defend my personal beliefs at a table of strangers) for the little issues so pushing something that has pushed a button (with full mental permission) me is a let the chips fall where they may. Part of reality says that 'your friends and family' should take notice that you are passing out personal information that is stored on a public server. I can't think of anybody (other than the FBI) that would promote you do that under any circumstance, especially to somebody to somebody 'in the neighborhood'. There is stupid (without question) and then there is downright dangerous, both to himself and to others at the location. This place is not Ft Knox and Calgary is in the news more often than not these day. You certainly don't want to know how insecure my computer or how secure my 1-bit login in is? If I wasn't a Christian I don't think I would even have had to include this at all, let me check in the 'Guide for Dummies with No Morals or Ethics' to see how just that is supposed to go? I'm going to assume the ending is sad no matter what direction you go.

What would you have the boyfriend do?

Walk in, see his girlfriend being raped, then politely ask him to stop or he'll call the police.... Then stand there on the phone with the police while she's still being raped??

He stopped the attack, he defended and protected his girlfriend - the victim - and the guy was detained until police arrived and took over. Police don't show up instantaneously the moment you call them so in that time, you need to do something to protect yourself and your loved ones.

I'd hate to be in a relationship with you, I'd feel so safe with you around.
Insert 'schreeech' just before bolded words. I hate to ask but did they know each other before said boyfriend was around?

No problem with the crime/punishment thing at all as the story stands. If changes happen then you have to take those into consideration, . . . right?
If that was his solution to 10 different events in 10 weeks then something will happen in the future, nice to have those stay as imiginations

Stupid has nothing to do with it. Not too worried about little boys in mommies basement.

He also said its not intelligent to give out personal information, because anyone can hack it.

News flash, look straight ahead, we have just began a very long journey, I'm going to bet I enjoy this part as much as you. Is that your favorite place, being the adult in the basement with boys? What else was mommy boss of?

Hey! That's not funny JLM. Lol

Ah, I like to try to get along with everyone! (One or two nitwits excluded) :) :)

CONWAY, SC — A South Carolina man accused of rape was brutally beaten by the victim’s boyfriend, according to multiple reports.

William Mattson, 52, was charged with criminal sexual conduct after police were called to a home in Conway early Thursday morning.
A man apparently found the suspect in a bedroom on top of his girlfriend.

Police said the boyfriend then started striking the suspect with his fist and drove him from the house to the front lawn.

Police said the suspect’s left eye was swollen shut and his lips and face were bleeding.

Deputies said the boyfriend was “acting in defense for the victim,” according to WIS.

If he's smart he won't go back to that house again for awhile!

I'd say the boyfriend stopped to soon. The "suspect" looks in a little too good of shape in my opinion.

Ah, you don't want him too messed up for his court appearance!

Here's an idea. Why don't we just get rid of the cops and the courts and let everybody just handle things themselves.

That may be a far more just system than what we have. That sh*t kicking probably did him more good (harm) than five year of jail. He'll probably have to find someone else to submit his resumes! :)

Even if he's innocent?

If he's innocent, then the sentence should be doubled for stupidity! :)

Ya, your only threatening to beat up some hypothetical guy in some hypothetical situation. I'm sure there may be some here that are impressed with your hypothetical "manliness".

And your propensity for "slapping bitches" attests to yours! :)

No. I doubt Gerry has it in him to give you his address. Some guys just talk the talk.

You for one! :)

In reference to my :: Looks good on him. That's justice.

Why do you feel it necessary to defend a rapist.. ??

Possibly for the same reason he felt it necessary to defend a policeman who literally kicked a disabled man in the face when he was down on the ground and there was video footage of the whole scenario. :)

This is Calgary, it was probably her brother or Dad, right gerr?

Even if it was consensual between the guy and the woman..... the guy wasn't her boyfriend/SO..... again, he's lucky with what he got.
Do you have an actual law that says a girls lover can get beat up for doing what the boyfriend can't do?
