Yes you're right.
Would be very expensive, but it's possible.
LOL.... really, expensive. strange, I thought sex, for the most part, was free. Surrogacy doesn't have to be expensive.

Haven't made my mind up yet
It's true, but is odd to me.
Just like the parents in the OP..... being Gay or Transgendered was "odd" to them also.
But it adds expensive barriers
you have no idea what is or is not bearable in the mind and life of another unless you walk in their shoes.Yes.
But what the kid did in reaction was wrong.
It sounds like he did it on purpose to have a reaction.
And not because his life was totally unbearable.
you have no idea what is or is not bearable in the mind and life of another unless you walk in their shoes.
$650 here. Not all that expensive considering the true costs of having them.
I was assuming hiring someone to bear you're child would be a very difficult find, and a much more costly process.
Perhaps it could be. In my case Im just giving my sperm to a lesbian. Might be easier for them than gay males, but I also know one gay male who did manage to reproduce with a straight female who happened to also want a child and didnt have a partner. There are other routes out there.

yes another pseudo psychologist who thinks he "knows". What would we do without y'all. All we know is the weak have low barring capacity.
And the strong have high barring capacity.

He took the easy selfish way out.
I do not believe society should reward that with a law.
Normally, I might just agree with you. In this case, I really need to hear what your reasoning as to how this was the "easy selfish" way out.
I think he wanted to punish his parents.
I think he wanted to have a law in his name.
I think his suicided was more about that then "it" being unbearable.
This does not answer the question. How was this the easy selfish way out.
At 17 SHE would have known that her suicide alone would not necessarily change anything. SHE may have hoped, that in some small way, what SHE was doing would help others. Being "vocal" in a way that some may not be able to shut HER up.
It is to me.
&
I may be totally wrong about what happen, there is no way to know she is dead.
Ok, then if you admit to not knowing "what happened", then how the hell can you form a conclusion? Are you psychic or just psychotic.
It's called a opinion.
and how can you form an opinion when you admit to having none of the facts?
