Insites objective is to reduce overdoses. It does no more than any other needle exchange when it comes to HIV, HCV and has no sex trade advantages.

They did manage to keep 497 junkies from death.

We have a needle exchange ran by former street workers, nurses, mental health and counselling too. Insite does nothing for HIV and HVC or street workers in prvention. That is not their objective. O D is.

Sorry, Sal, didn't word that as good as I could have. I was thinking more along the lines of strength of character. I find people who had a free ride all their life and used to having things their way can be rather shallow. Like easily dismiss other people's problems and concerns. People who have had a tough go of it are often better listeners and more understanding. They are often not as greedy and selfish. I suppose while possessing these traits they could still be "messed up". Having said that I am sure there are cases that will make a liar out of me.
