Lying is part and parcel of politics, Colpy. I really don't think the little prick is going anywhere, but it does high light the down side of democracy. People such as Jr. will always get a few votes, simply because stupid people have the same rights as everyone else. But I have faith there isn't enough of them. And if there is then the longevity of the planet is short!
He may not be good for much, but maybe he can provide a laugh!

I'm predicting by the time the election comes, the head honcho of the party will figure out they need a change of leader. I'm not sure there is as much to hate as there is to pity. In his own mind he probably means well, just totally inadequate.

Nah, she probably has a working brain that sometimes gets side tracked by her emotions. A lot of people get sucked in by fast talking politicians to the point where they lost sight of the fact that they can't "walk on water". Even the very few politicians (like Dosanjh) who I do admire are vulnerable like the rest of us. (He will likely do what it takes to get re elected)
Sometimes even the most obtuse idiots know when to shut up.
