Oh I don't dispute the dictionary definition. Neither do I dispute the definition of Satan, Angel or even Ogre or elf. Theology exists just as does Philosophy, or Biology.......it is the study of Religion, Beliefs or that of plants, humans, etc.original sin

Actually that was Peter in the NT that supplied that info. Perhaps the text that said adam would die in the same day he ate and dieing at 930 years of age is the part you are missing.I think you've been reading Genesis where it says "a day is to a thousand years as a thousand years is to a day", I think both terms are pretty nebulous...............no pretty much bull sh*t!
Even if a being called Satan ever existed, humans for one reason or another have always lied. We start when we first begin to talk, not because we understand a lie but we know even that young (through how adults reacted to certain acts)n sometimes the truth could bring punishment. From infancy we are learning what is acceptable and what is not. It takes a few years before we realize that a lie doesn't always work and we nearly always get chastised twice . Once for the first action and then for the lie.The original sin was Satan telling a lie, Adam did die on the same day he ate, back then a day was considered to be 1,000 years long.
The bible is a work of fiction but that is a fact you would never accept. Once a bible junkie, always a bible junkie. There is a cure but it is a pill you could never swallow.Actually that was Peter in the NT that supplied that info. You don't have to be a believer to put that parts of Scripture that belong together, . . . together. You could do that with a work of fiction also. With that element missing perhaps your inability to add things together is not the Bible's fault but your's alone.
My goodness you cannot prove an outrageous premise by quoting the written beliefs of tribal barbarians. It is tantamount to trying to prove Pinnochio' s nose was made of oak or maple,, instead of accepting a boy made of wood actually never existed, never mind had a nose that grew with his lies.Actually that was Peter in the NT that supplied that info. You may believe what you wish, just don't insist the rest of the world join you. As far reincarnation goes, there is more proof of it than anything written in the Bible. Read some of Dr .Moodie's books about what some very young children remember of other lives. Very interesting. But we're supposed to believe an old white man banging away on his keyboard, from his trailer in Canada is actually a reincarnated Cree.
PWNED

WHAT.......and exactly what are you??? Not exactly the most tolerant that I noticed!! The idea that because one doesn't believe how one hopes does not make one intolerant nor a bigot. By the way, I consider the bible on a par with big foot sightings. After all when was the last time anyone spoke with a burning bush, or witnessed the dead rising after 3 days in dessert heat. So does this make me an intolerant bigot??Have I?
I'll answer for you.... No.
LMAO.... Yeah right. Reincarnation...Same with Bigfoot sightings.
Cliffy is just an intolerant bigot.

You always this cheery? That is why I had to alter it so powers of 10 were being taught on the first page.My goodness you cannot prove an outrageous premise by quoting the written beliefs of tribal barbarians. Already did, as well as those by Jane Roberts, Robert Monroe and many others. But a young child telling mom, she was the mum last time around is really more interesting Or the young child in India whose parents finally took her to the place where she claimed to have lived before.......she not only knew the names of the whole family but told them where she put the family treasures before she died.If you want to get the lowdown on reincarnation you might try reading some of the works by/about Dr. Edgar Cayce.

Stories like these are interesting but knowing places and people are familiar while meeting or seeing them for the first time is fascinating.
Yup.....Have to get people accustomed to the idea that if this Universe is the handiwork of an actual entity, that entity cannot possibly be as horrid as portrayed by the authors of our sacred books. OR perhaps, that entity just grew up and left it's toys just hanging about. (us)You always this cheery? That is why I had to alter it so powers of 10 were being taught on the first page.
I hope it was telepathy with a person and not the doll LOL.Yeah, there's not much to dispute about the little girl who found the doll and knew the name. I suppose one other explanation might be mental telepathy.
